EVPassport is seeking a capable Technical Project Manager to lead technology-focused initiatives from concept through delivery, ensuring projects are executed on time, on budget and aligned with business & customer objectives. This role requires both strong project-management rigour and sufficient technical fluency to act as a bridge between engineering, operations and business stakeholders. KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop comprehensive project plans: define scope, deliverables, timelines, milestones, resource allocation and budget. Lead day-to-day execution of technical projects: drive coordination of cross-functional teams (engineering, product, QA, operations, external vendors) to deliver outcomes. Manage resources (people, third-party vendors, tools) and project budgets—track spending, forecast variances, escalate as required. Serve as the primary liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders (business leadership, clients, partners), providing regular status updates, clarifying technical concepts, and managing expectations. Identify, assess and mitigate risks, issues and dependencies; adapt plans proactively to maintain schedule/quality/budget. Ensure technical feasibility and alignment: work with engineering leads to understand architecture, dependencies, constraints and propose improvements. Facilitate team leadership: conduct stand-ups, sprint planning or other cadence meetings as appropriate; ensure task ownership, track progress and remove blockers. Maintain project documentation: status reports, change logs, lessons learned, retrospective summaries. After project completion: drive post-mortem reviews, capture learnings, identify process improvements and feed into next project. Additional projects as may be assigned by the Company. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree (in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or similar technical discipline) OR equivalent experience. Proven experience (for example, 3-5+ years) managing technical projects (software development, infrastructure, systems engineering or similar) in a dynamic environment. Strong technical understanding: able to engage meaningfully with engineering teams, understand development/infrastructure concepts, pose relevant questions and make informed decisions. (As noted: TPMs “possess deep technical fluency, enabling them to engage with engineers … and identify risks.”) Solid expertise in project-management methodologies and tools (Agile/Scrum, Waterfall hybrid, Kanban; tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello). Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills: able to translate between technical and business language, influence stakeholders, lead team meetings, present status and escalate when needed. Strong problem-solving skills: able to anticipate issues, make trade-offs (scope/time/budget/quality), adapt plans and keep project on track. Experience in resource and budget management: allocating resources, forecasting budgets tracking variances and carrying accountability for project financials. Detail-orientation and organizational discipline: maintain project documentation, milestone tracking, change control, schedule management. Nice to have - Experience in the domain relevant to EV charging, CPMS/EMSP, SaaS integrations, API platforms or managing technology-partner integrations. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in creating PRD’s and running agile teams Experience with vendor management and third-party integrations (especially if your ecosystem involves hardware/software vendors). Familiarity with data-warehousing, analytics platforms (e.g., Snowflake) or API management, if your projects touch those layers. Experience in highly iterative, product-driven environments (especially startups or scale-ups) and comfortable with ambiguity and rapid change. Exposure to API-first, microservices, or IoT/hardware-software integration projects. It’s a plus: Knowledge of electric vehicles and charging dynamics. Industry expertise. Start-up mentality. The Opportunity: We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and adaptable Office Manager / Executive Assistant to provide critical support to our executive team while ensuring smooth day-to-day office operations. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can balance multiple priorities, and is committed to operational excellence. The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable managing administrative details, streamlining office operations, and serving as a trusted partner to senior leadership. This role will work onsite 5 days a week in our Santa Monica headquarters. KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Executive Support • Provide direct administrative support to executives, including calendar management, travel coordination, expense reporting, and meeting preparation. • Draft correspondence on behalf of executives with discretion and professionalism. • Act as a point of contact between executives and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate communication. • Anticipate executive needs and proactively identify ways to improve workflow efficiency. Office Management • Coordinate general office logistics to ensure a clean, proactive, organized, and collaborative environment for all team members. • Oversee day-to-day office operations, ensuring a well-organized and efficient workplace, including partnership with building management and service providers. • Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, deliveries, and general inquiries. • Manage office supplies, vendor relationships, and facility maintenance needs. • Coordinate logistics for office lunches, events, meetings, and company-wide initiatives. • Support new hires in partnership with IT to ensure employees have the necessary hardware and software, and feel welcomed and productive in our office. • Develop and maintain systems to ensure operational efficiency, including document management, team communications, and office policies.
