All about the role: The Last Mile Project Manager/Product Owner leads high‑complexity, cross‑functional projects that support Electrolux’s 3–5 year roadmap for North America D2C and Last Mile operations. What you’ll do: Plans and ensures execution of project deliverables within agreed-upon timing and budget. Composes a project work-breakdown structure/schedule and plan for executing the project - including sequencing, identification of dependencies, duration and resource needs, cost estimations, budgeting, and control. Conducts regular project team meetings. Regularly presents project status reports to Steering Committee, other senior managers, and, when relevant, North America Senior Leadership Team. Clearly communicates roles and responsibilities within the project core and extended team. Tracks progress against agreed targets. Develops and implements mitigation plan for at-risk items. Key Responsibilities: Lead day‑to‑day U.S. import and export compliance operations, ensuring adherence to CBP regulations, global trade requirements, and internal company policies. Partner with the Senior Manager, North America Customs Compliance to implement company‑wide customs and export control compliance strategies. Develop, maintain, and enhance processes, procedures, and controls that ensure full compliance with CBP, partner government agencies, and global trade standards. Oversee accuracy and timeliness of all 10+2 Importer Security Filing (ISF) submissions. Ensure proper qualification, documentation, and compliance with USMCA, other Free Trade Agreements, special trade programs, and Other Government Agency (OGA) requirements. Monitor and ensure operational adherence to provisional tariffs and Anti‑Dumping/Countervailing Duty (AD/CVD) orders, including necessary reporting and documentation. Lead the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of training programs for trade compliance personnel across decentralized sites and product lines. Manage and optimize Customs Broker relationships, including setting KPIs, conducting audits, ensuring POA controls, and driving broker performance improvements through formal measurement programs. Maintain all CBP‑required import/export records in accordance with 19 CFR 163 (a)(1)(A) list requirements. Conduct logistical and trade data analyses to identify cost savings, operational efficiency opportunities, and process improvements. Track changes in the U.S. tariff landscape and evaluate their impact on sourcing, imports, suppliers, and operational costs; provide guidance and oversight to ensure compliant execution. Serve as an internal customs auditor, leading corrective actions, process enhancements, and risk‑mitigation initiatives. Ensure accurate classification of imported items under the Harmonized Tariff System (HTS) and maintain supporting documentation. Standardize Desk Level Procedures (DLPs) aligned with regulatory requirements and company policies. What you’ll do: • Act as a reliable source of transportation data for the Supply Chain team and other company areas. • Analyze freight results to ensure cost-effective transportation solutions. • Classify, approve, and dispute cost charges as needed. • Map logistics processes to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices. • Implement continuous improvement actions to enhance freight flows and overall logistics performance. • Serve as a link between transportation and finance departments to ensure alignment and effective communication. • Support the development of accurate and comprehensive cost forecasts for transportation and logistics operations. • Establish and maintain cost parameters for the freight payment process to ensure compliance and accuracy. • Consolidate volume demand to optimize transportation planning and cost efficiency. • Oversee, analyze, approve, or dispute costs, and lead cost optimization initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce expenses. • Implement KPIs and metrics to measure transportation service levels and carrier performance. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field, preferred. • Minimum 3 years of experience in transportation, carrier management, or logistics operations. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify cost-saving opportunities. • Excellent communication and negotiation skills for managing carrier relationships and internal stakeholders. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
