(EWS) is currently seeking an Assistant Project Manager to be responsible for all engineering and technical disciplines for outside plant projects. Requirements of the Assistant Project Manager ● Must be able to read, interpret and extrapolate construction plans, drawings and specifications. ● Ability to interrelate and communicate effectively with personnel at all levels of development activity. ● Assertive / determined / detail - deadline oriented personality with the ability to anticipate problems and master details. ● Must be able to analyze, comprehend and present complex information in various forms. ● Must possess good computer skills with working knowledge of MS-Windows MS-Word, Excel, MS-Project and MS-Outlook. ● Previous experience building large city-wide infrastructure including Active Ethernet networks for FTTH. ● Proven ability to recruit, develop and promote high-quality talent Responsibilities of the Assistant Project Manager ● Responsible for direct supervision of the project staff on each of his/her projects. ● Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects ● Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards and specifications ● Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field ● Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status ● Assign responsibilities and mentor project team ● Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support Job Type: Full-time Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Work Location: In person
