East West Staffing, Inc. (EWS) is currently seeking an Assistant Project Manager to be responsible for all engineering and technical disciplines for outside plant projects. Requirements of the Assistant Project Manager ● Must be able to read, interpret and extrapolate construction plans, drawings and specifications. ● Ability to interrelate and communicate effectively with personnel at all levels of development activity. ● Assertive / determined / detail - deadline oriented personality with the ability to anticipate problems and master details. ● Must be able to analyze, comprehend and present complex information in various forms. ● Must possess good computer skills with working knowledge of MS-Windows MS-Word, Excel, MS-Project and MS-Outlook. ● Previous experience building large city-wide infrastructure including Active Ethernet networks for FTTH. ● Proven ability to recruit, develop and promote high-quality talent Responsibilities of the Assistant Project Manager ● Responsible for direct supervision of the project staff on each of his/her projects. ● Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects ● Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards and specifications ● Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field ● Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status ● Assign responsibilities and mentor project team ● Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support Job Type: Full-time Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Work Location: In person
