POSITION SUMMARY: DuBois Chemicals is looking to hire a high-achieving sales professional to assume our South Texas (Houston) sales territory with excellent upside growth potential. Responsible for growing and maintaining our business in this region and is required to have a successful history of cold-calling, prospecting, and creating new business. The South Texas Sales Representative will work as part of the DuBois sales and growth team to maintain and increase business where applicable while improving DuBois’ chemical treatment programs to our diverse client base. Our Sales Representatives are dedicated and passionately focused on providing value added industrial chemical and process solutions that meet or exceed the expectations of our customers. Ideal Sales Representative is a self-starter and enjoys working in an entrepreneurial environment focused on solving/resolving customer problems. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Create new business growth through prospecting in a large market with market-share upside. Manage key accounts of mid-sized and large accounts with an opportunity for increased wallet share with existing customers. Manage and maintain an existing account base and grow sales in other value-added manufactured products in the company's product offering including (Add product line) market. Problem-solving, value-added selling process with focus on winning and retaining customers and repeat consumable business. Strong customer emphasis on reducing total costs, improving production quality, and achieving Health, Safety and Environmental goals and objectives. Effectively communicate customer needs and requirements to all functional areas of the company to ensure that efforts are coordinated resulting in rapid organic sales growth. Collaborate with the Research & Development (R&D) technical team to develop selling opportunities and account management. Travel to current and prospective customers to develop relationships and grow sales. New Sales Professionals receive thorough training and mentoring to support success. MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Business field preferred 2+ years of sales experience in industrial or chemical preferred. Proven effectiveness in prospecting, closing new projects, and delivering effective presentations. Demonstrated ability to build and manage long-term customer relationships. High achievement orientation; driven to perform and grow. Strong consultation, negotiation, problem-resolution, and interpersonal skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to understand new product lines and utilize knowledge to fulfill customer needs. Proficient in Microsoft Office Professionally developed sales and territory management skills Ability to travel daily, with up to 5% overnight travel. POSITION SUMMARY: The Sourcing Analyst is an integral member of the sourcing team, providing support on strategy development, strategy execution, and cross functional partnership, with sourcing ownership for up to $20MM in defined plants/categories. Focus is on delivering cost and cash while maintaining impeccable service and quality through strategic spend and vendor management. Detail oriented and process driven skills required to further deliver on governance metrics: masterdata maintenance, internal and external partnership supporting full sourcing team scope. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Responsibility to source raw materials, packaging components, purchased finished goods, indirect services, and/or equipment. • Relentless mindset to continuously strive to reduce total cost of procured goods and services sustainably. Negotiation and bidding skill to purchases critical materials from approved sources • Continuously develop suppliers and optimize supplier relationships to source product of the best quality at the optimum price at proper lead-times to meet customer requirements. • Business leadership to understand the big picture and agility to change when this is the best course of action. • Governance work processes and reporting to ensure sourcing execution day to day: Ensure we are purchasing from approved/awarded suppliers to support production, chemical management programs, and/or equipment sales to satisfy minimum order points, production demands, and sales forecast. • Follow, maintain and enforce procurement policies, support sourcing strategy execution with no miss. • KPI and scorecard execution with suppliers and sourcing governance to ensure service and quality are met. • Analyze and maintain negotiated fields for critical raw, containers, finished goods, and/or equipment to minimize stock outs and product disruptions. • Collaborate cross functionally and communicate regularly with Commercial, Manufacturing, Operations, Receiving, Warehousing, Planning, and Quality to ensure that expectations and constantly met. • Develop work process reporting strategy and act as process leader for critical sourcing top line growth, service, cost, and risk management projects. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • Minimum of three-five years of job-related experience preferred. • Three+ years in operational purchasing or relevant business experience such as supply chain, operations, project management, or finance • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and Microsoft Dynamics. • High level of accuracy and attention to detail. • Ability to work independently and in a group setting. • Solid telephone and oral communication skills, and presentation skills. • Ability to build strong working relationships internally and externally.
