Duties and Responsibilities: Position Description: The Senior Systems Architect is responsible for developing business, data, systems, and infrastructure models to develop enterprise architectures. His/her responsibilities include performing the following tasks: Lead cross-functional design sessions involving architects, product owners, rules SMEs, data teams, and developers. Developing plans for migrating architectures; Developing technical reference models to include hardware/software standards; and Engineering integrated hardware and software solutions to meet mission requirements. Define, document, and communicate enterprise and solution-level architecture patterns, standards, and blueprints for application and integration layers. Design high-performance, scalable applications and services using Java, .NET, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architectures. Guide development teams in selecting frameworks, design patterns, and toolchains to support reusable, maintainable, and compliant software. Lead architecture reviews, technical risk assessments, and decision-making across application and data integration platforms (e.g., Informatica, PostgreSQL/Aurora, AWS Lambda, S3, API Gateway). Design secure integration approaches across systems using OAuth2, JWT, and API management strategies. Support deployment planning and DevOps collaboration by aligning CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible), and containerization strategies. Partner with business analysts, project managers, and product owners to ensure architecture supports both business and technical requirements. Provide guidance on modernization of legacy applications and refactoring into cloud-native and service-oriented architectures. Maintain technical documentation, architecture decision records (ADRs), and architectural runbooks. Mentor junior architects and senior developers on architectural thinking, scalability, and best practices. Qualifications Education and Years of Experience: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; or three (3) years of equivalent experience in a related field. (Note: A Master’s degree in Information Technology is a plus.) Required and Desired Skills/Certifications: At least five (5) years of experience in benefits systems, or integrated eligibility systems (SNAP, TANF, Medicaid). The proposed candidate must have experience performing a significant role in all aspects of architecture-related work on at least two large IT systems. Minimum ten (10)+ years of IT experience in application development, system integration, or technical leadership roles. At least five (5) years as a hands-on application or solution architect in enterprise environments. The candidate should possess a deep understanding of policies from FNS, CMS, MDH, and MD DHS, and should be able to effectively translate policy manuals into actionable business rules (using Corticon Rules Engine) that align with stakeholder expectations and real-world scenarios. Deep expertise in Corticon, Java and/or .NET application stacks, REST API development, and service-oriented architectures (SOA/Microservices). Experience architecting solutions in cloud environments (preferably AWS), including use of native services (Lambda, S3, ECS, Aurora). Working knowledge of data integration platforms such as Informatica, ETL pipelines, and data flow design. Experience integrating with enterprise reporting and BI platforms such as Qlik or QuickSight. Experience designing systems with security, performance, accessibility (508), and compliance in mind. Proficient in version control, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, Terraform, Docker, and Ansible. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder alignment, documentation, and technical mentorship. Architecture certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Microsoft Azure Architect are a plus. Learn more at www.dminc.com About the Opportunity DMI, LLC is seeking a Peoplesoft production support analyst for Accounting, supporting the users on a daily basis with production issues as well as performing monthly, quarterly and year end closinhg support and reporting as well as supporting the annual financial and spot audits. We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Kronos/UKG time keeping and Peoplesoft Payroll Functional Support Analyst. This role is primarily functional, with some technical knowledge required, and focuses on supporting Time Keeping and Peoplesoft payroll end users across Kronos/UKG and PeopleSoft Payroll modules. The ideal candidate will have a strong Payroll background, a deep understanding of Kronos time keeping, and demonstrated experience in supporting payroll activities. Duties and Responsibilities: Provide daily functional support to end users in Payroll department across Kronos time keeping and Peoplesoft Payroll module. Lead and support the configuration, testing, and implementation of changes in Kronos time keeping and Peoplesoft Payroll module. Assist in Payroll production close processes, including: Running and analyzing time interfaces from Kronos Supporting the generation and distribution of payroll analytical reports. Involve in UKG Pro Workforce Management support and implementation. Develop and execute complex ad-hoc queries using reporting tool to support transactional and payroll data analysis for business users. Collaborate with technical teams to resolve system and interface issues and ensure integration points function as expected. Perform root cause analysis on data discrepancies and recommend corrective actions. Assist in the documentation of business processes, configurations, and system modifications. Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and end-user training sessions Qualifications Education and Years of Experience: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field Seven (7) or more years of relevant experience Minimum Requirements: Minimum of 7 years’ experience supporting end users in payroll department. Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience configuring and supporting multiple Kronos Time Keeping Strong knowledge of time keeping principles and experience with payroll data analysis. Extensive experience with creating and managing complex analytical reports. Demonstrated experience supporting Kronos employee time and leave issues. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Preferred Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in information systems, or related field. Experience with Kronos WFC 8 and UKG Pro Workforce Management Familiarity with integration tools and reporting tools Min Citizenship Status Required: Must be eligible to work in the United States Physical Requirements: No Physical requirement needed for this position.
