Why should you be part of our success story? As the fastest-growing Software as a Service (SaaS) company in history, Deel is transforming how global talent connects with world-class companies – breaking down borders that have traditionally limited both hiring and career opportunities. Your experience at Deel will be a career accelerator. At the forefront of the global work revolution, you'll tackle complex challenges that impact millions of people's working lives. With our momentum—backed by a $12 billion valuation and $1 B in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) in just over five years—you'll drive meaningful impact while building expertise that makes you a sought-after leader in the transformation of global work. The Opportunity Look, let’s be real. We’re Deel. We do global HR and payroll. Not exactly the kind of thing people are posting to r/funny about on a Friday night. But here’s the thing: hiring and paying people anywhere in the world is kind of magic, and we think Reddit’s the place where those conversations can actually matter. That’s where you come in. We’re looking for someone who doesn’t just lurk Reddit—you live here. You know which subs are chill, which ones will eat brands alive, and how to avoid getting downvoted into a black hole. You know the difference between an honest AMA and a karma-farm. You’ve probably lost entire evenings arguing in r/technology or laughing in r/aita. And now, we want you to take all that Reddit brainpower and help Deel build a presence that’s actually welcome here. This job isn’t “make a corporate account and start posting ads.” hard no. This is: Figure out where Deel belongs (and where we really don’t). Create content that’s actually worth upvoting. Talk to people like a human being, not a brand bot. Help us return some positive brand awareness without becoming a cringe case study in r/fellowkids. If you’re the kind of person who already knows which trending post format will be dead by next week, you’ll probably thrive here. Yes, it’s a full-time remote job. Yes, you can work from anywhere. Yes, we pay people on time (we’re literally a payroll company). What You’ll Actually Do Build Deel’s Reddit strategy from scratch (no playbook yet—you’ll write it) Post stuff people actually want to read (AMAs, guides, discussion threads, memes, spicy takes, useful answers) Be Deel’s voice in relevant subs—transparent, helpful, witty, and never “corporate cringe” Track convos about Deel and the industry, and jump in when it makes sense (or meme when it doesn’t) Keep your finger on the pulse of Reddit trends, subreddit culture shifts, and in-jokes and react before they die Experiment with text posts, visuals, gifs, memes, and long-form content to see what works Measure what gets traction, learn from it, and keep iterating until Deel is known for showing up right on Reddit You, in a Nutshell You’re a Reddit power user (like, show us your post history—don’t worry, we won’t judge your lurking in r/unexpected). You can point to posts you’ve made that blew up—or communities you’ve helped grow. You know Reddit’s culture inside-out: what flies, what flops, and what gets you insta-banned. You can switch tone easily: snark in one sub, thoughtful explainer in another, meme drop in a third. You can take a “boring” topic (payroll) and make it worth reading. That’s the challenge, and you love it. You’re strategic enough to map out a long-term Reddit plan, but scrappy enough to hop into a comment thread at 11pm because it’s blowing up. You thrive on authenticity, hate fake engagement, and would never write “Great post! Check out our product!” Bonus Karma You’ve run or moderated a subreddit before You’ve done community management outside Reddit (Discord, forums, etc.) You’ve worked at a startup, B2B SaaS, HRTech, or FinTech (but it’s okay if you haven’t—Reddit skills > payroll knowledge) Total Rewards Our workforce deserves fair and competitive pay that meets them where they are. With scalable benefits, rewards, and perks, our total rewards programs reflect our commitment to inclusivity and access for all. The Opportunity Deel, the leading all-in-one global-first HR & Payroll platform, is out to change the way the world works. We help companies hire, pay, and manage talent anywhere in the world—without drowning in compliance paperwork or payroll nightmares. X is where the tech world thinks out loud. It’s where founders debate product strategy at 2am, where AI researchers drop threads that shift the industry, and where the startup community builds in public. Our audience—founders, product builders, and global operators—lives here. We want Deel to not just show up, but to become a credible, valuable voice in the conversation. We’re looking for a Twitter-native content strategist and creator who deeply understands the platform and this audience and knows how to earn attention in their world. You’ll craft content that resonates with startup founders, tech operators, AI enthusiasts, and the people shaping the future of work. You’ll help us refine Deel’s X voice, create threads and posts that spark discussion, and make Deel part of the daily feed for Silicon Valley and beyond. This isn’t just about copywriting. It’s about being in the trenches of tech X—knowing the conversations, the memes, the power players, and the formats that work—and building Deel’s strategy to thrive in that environment. This is a fully remote role—we’ll hire you wherever you live, as long as you can collaborate across PT/ET/GMT time zones and speak fluent X and English. What You’ll Do • Build and execute Deel’s X content strategy focused on founders, product leaders, and the tech/AI community • Write daily tweets and threads that resonate with our audience: clever, insightful, concise, and never “corporate” • Position Deel as a credible voice in startup and tech conversations, not just as a brand account • Monitor relevant conversations (founder threads, AI debates, hiring/HR pain points) and jump in with value-add responses every day • Translate complex HR/payroll topics into sharp, founder-friendly insights and stories • Experiment with different formats—one-liners, thought-leadership threads, data drops, memes—for engagement and reach • Track performance, analyze what’s working, and iterate to grow Deel’s presence and influence on X • Collaborate with execs and thought leaders at Deel to elevate their voices on the platform What We’re Looking For • Proven Twitter expertise: you’ve grown an account (brand or personal) in tech/startup circles and know what works on the platform (send us your portfolio!) • Deep understanding of founder and tech Twitter culture: the players, the memes, the unwritten rules • Exceptional writing skills: short, punchy, witty, and insightful in 280 characters (or a compelling thread) • Strong sense for timing, trends, and tone: you know when to drop a thought, when to engage, and when to stay quiet • Ability to turn “boring” business concepts into content that sparks discussion among founders and operators • Comfortable building a content strategy, not just executing on existing one-liners • Strong instincts for data-driven content (charts, insights, benchmarks) that perform well with a tech audience • Thrives in fast-moving conversations and can adapt quickly to shifts in culture and news cycles Bonus Points • You’re already active on Twitter/X with a following in the tech/founder/AI community (link your profile) • You’ve written viral threads or content in startup/tech spaces • Experience building a brand or executive thought-leadership presence on Twitter • Experience in B2B SaaS, HRTech, or FinTech—especially in a hypergrowth startup environment Total Rewards Our workforce deserves fair and competitive pay that meets them where they are. With scalable benefits, rewards, and perks, our total rewards programs reflect our commitment to inclusivity and access for all. Some things you’ll enjoy • Stock grant opportunities dependent on your role, employment status and location • Additional perks and benefits based on your employment status and country • The flexibility of remote work, including optional WeWork access At Deel, we’re an equal-opportunity employer that values diversity and positively encourage applications from suitably qualified and eligible candidates regardless of race, religion, sex, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, disability status, pregnancy or maternity or other applicable legally protected characteristics.
