What We Need: We are looking for a high-impact Account Manager to be a strategic, value-focused customer partner and drive revenue performance across renewals and price optimization. This role is responsible for executing our renewal strategy and ensuring seamless cross-functional partnership with Customer Success Managers (CSMs). The ideal candidate is commercially driven, data-savvy, process-oriented, and skilled at elevating customer conversations to the executive level. Who you are: Commercially sharp with the ability to solve customer business problems—not just focus on features. Skillful negotiator with experience in managing negotiations for a subscription business. Motivated by compensation, performance, and results (money, success, impact driven). Strong operational rigor: pipeline discipline, forecasting accuracy, and process consistency. Excellent communicator who can elevate conversations to senior and executive levels. Collaborative resource coordinator who knows how to pull in internal stakeholders to advance opportunities. Curious, analytical, and able to translate customer needs into solutions. What You Will Do: Customer & Revenue Ownership Ensure every account has a clear, documented account plan, including risk identification. Lead the renewal process by structuring commercial conversations and optimizing price movements. Drive QBRs for all strategic and enterprise accounts. Develop executive relationships and uncover new buying centers with CSM collaboration. Forecasting & Pipeline Accuracy Own the accuracy and consistency of Salesforce pipeline hygiene. Ensure 100% of opportunities are updated weekly with correct stages, next steps, amounts, and close dates. Provide clear forecasting to leadership. Cross-Functional Partnership Partner with CSMs to align on customer goals, adoption status, and risks to renewal. Collaborate with internal resources—including product, insights, research, data, and senior executives—to support account growth and retention. What We’re Looking For 5+ years experience in account management. Proven account management experience, ideally within data, SaaS, analytics, or subscription businesses. Strong understanding of account planning, renewal strategy, commercial negotiation, and expansion opportunities. Experience working closely with CSM teams in a dual-account-ownership model. Food and Beverage or Market Research experience is a plus, but not required Our Table Welcomes All. We design beautiful data-driven PowerPoint presentations that deliver insights and provide actionable business recommendations on everything food and beverage. We also provide clients with training on our tools and reports. You will start by mastering Datassential’s syndicated products and use that knowledge to support our clients’ needs through a variety of request types (reports, presentations, etc.). You will also: • Use our syndicated products to export data and generate clear, compelling, and impactful insight-driven stories that solve specific customer pain points • Provide actionable insights to our clients • Provide excellent customer service and lead with a customer-centric mindset • Make project recommendations outside of the requested scope that would enhance the storytelling component, and listen for cues that indicate potential upsell opportunities • Be the voice of the customer and collaborate with internal teams to provide feedback that helps improve our solutions What you bring: • BA/BS in Marketing, Business, Psychology, Economics or similar field • 3-5 years of market research or data insights experience or related experience in an analytical role • Strong analytical skills and the ability to distill diverse data sets into cohesive and succinct stories with attention to detail depending on the client need • Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects • simultaneously • Excellent communication and consultative skills in both writing and presenting to convey information clearly and effectively to a wide variety of client audiences • Familiarity with G-Suite and intermediate knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel • Experience in foodservice a plus Our Benefits • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance • 401K with company match • Annual bonus • Unlimited PTO • Wellness Reimbursement/ HQ Gym The base salary range for this role is $70,000-$75,000 in addition to an annual performance based bonus of 7%.
