To be an active participant in line/cell teams, contribute to the company’s vision and goals, while safely operating production equipment. ______________________________________________________________________ JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • 1. Operate equipment to accepted safety and production standards. • 2. Maintain clean and safe work area utilizing 5S methodologies and in accordance with hazard assessment. • 3. Actively participate in problem solving, continuous improvement and teaming activities utilizing the following methodologies: • Use and maintain product and process controls utilizing Dynamic Control Plan (DCP) methodology. • Participate in problem solving activities utilizing 8D and Poka-Yoke methodology. • Strive for quality improvement and cost reduction, utilizing continuous improvement methodologies. • Support in training and development of new team members. • Work in and promote teamwork. • 4. Maintain and utilize Statistical Process Control (SPC), Quality Operating System (QOS) measurables and all Dana reporting documentation. • 5. Maintain and verify all quality gaging, Poka-Yokes and mistake proof devices in accordance with Dana engineered specifications. • 6. Verify and maintain just-in-time inventory based on pull system. • 7. Ensure that equipment is serviced as required utilizing Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) methodology. • 8. Set-up all equipment in the entire cell to accepted engineering standards, utilizing quick changeover methodology. • 9. Determine what repairs are required based on MRB documents. • 10. Must be able to use hand gages, (micrometers, calipers, snap gages and master gages). • 11. Notify supervisor of issues or problems. • 12. DOT training if required Hilo driving. • 13. Job Purpose The individual selected for this role will perform a variety of maintenance, repairs, continuous improvement, and new installation functions on facility grounds, equipment and infrastructure with limited direction and guidance. Support manufacturing operations in a spirit of teamwork and cooperation. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely fashion. Safely, professionally, and efficiently, complete facility maintenance, preventive maintenance and new installations per line-up and documentation. Key Responsibilities: Specific duties include, but are not limited to: 1. Troubleshoot and repair facility equipment and overall infrastructure with minimal supervision. Areas include, but are not limited to; HVAC, power distribution, process water systems, boilers, cooling towers, dryers, air compressors, chemical feed units, sewers, general plumbing, load docks, lighting, utility drops, building infrastructure and floors. Verify equipment as functional and leave the area clean and safe. 2. Perform daily walk-around inspection in assigned area(s) of the facility. Document findings, add chemicals, perform PM as needed, and report discrepancies to maintenance supervisor/planner. Operate in response to requests by maintenance supervisor or support personnel, and set priorities as required to maintain facility. 3. Gather and maintain a complete set of required tools, including electrical meters and other diagnostic devices. Utilize diagnostic tools and available schematics to define problem areas and assist with resolution. 4. Participate in preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve operational uptime and equipment life. Recommend improvements and/or changes to PM systems/tasks when applicable. 5. Follow designated work instructions as outlined for specific functions. These include, but are not limited to; PM work orders, continuous improvement tasks, new installation line-ups and repair/refurbish assignments. 6. Update drawings/prints suggest spare parts and suitable replacements and perform various forms of repair/rebuild/installation in a professional manner per line-up and schematics. 7. Follow standard practices and all governmental regulations and laws relating to powered equipment. 8. Perform other related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and management. Qualifications Qualifications, Skills & Competencies: • High School Diploma or equivalent. • Journeyman’s card or equivalent work experience. • Ability to pass a Facilities Maintenance Technician aptitude test. • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical codes, techniques and standards. Familiarity with government regulations for industry. • Must have strong background in mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems and superior troubleshooting skills. • Ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC units, power distribution systems, air distribution systems, cooling towers, general plumbing and other facility-related systems and structures. Familiarity with pumps, motors, electrical circuits, piping, carpentry and common facility equipment. • Should maintain a sense of urgency, self-motivation and overall good work ethic while performing tasks in a safe manner. • Ability to read electrical/piping schematics, specify and gather material, and complete installation or repairs with minimal supervision. Skilled in interpersonal relations and written and oral communications. Job Purpose The Regional Sales Manager - Industrial Distribution reports to the Director, Low Voltage Electrification, and will maintain and aggressively grow sales with the existing VARs (Value-Add-Resellers) in the region, expand the network, and directly manage and grow designated Regional/Local Key Accounts. The aim is to further develop sales of Battery Powered Inverters and Motors either via VARs or directly to Key Accounts across the region through a strong combination of technical, commercial, and interpersonal skills. The primary products will be low-voltage products, but the promotion of high-voltage technology to VARs will also be needed. The market segments include electrified machines/vehicles in Material Handling (Forklifts, AGVs, AMRs), Ground Support Equipment, Aerial Work Platforms, Construction Machines, Motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, EHPS applications, Classic Car Conversion, a.o. Direct Account responsibility will be for smaller and larger regional-based companies. Job Responsibilities • Develop strong relationships with the customer and their stakeholders at different levels (management, procurement, and technical) to promote Dana TM4. • Establish joint growth plans, including joint marketing plans, sales plans, and activities • Annual performance reviews/rating reviews • Manage pricelists, price-changes, etc. for Low & High Voltage products • Set up and manage the quarterly forecasting process with the distributor on their significant customers • Launching new products / managing communication around changes/phase-outs • Organize/coordinate training programs to help promote our products • Evaluate alternative/new distributors to be added • Industrial Distribution agreement development and management • Develop a strong relationship with the Appl. Eng. Team regionally and globally • Identify and develop sales to Regional OEMs that are not covered / cannot / shall not be covered by the VARs. • Manage quoting activities, program launch with Dana TM4 organization, as well as planning / forecasting. • Particularly focus on launching the LVI400 series and the Synchronous Motor technologies. Education and Qualifications • Bachelors degree preferred • 5+ years of qualified experience in sales, and/or field application engineering in a global organizational environment • Experience managing Distributors Skills and Competencies • Ability to motivate others through interpersonal skills and professional knowledge. • Have worked inside an International Organization in sales and/or project management roles. • Experience in working with Multiple Organizational Levels from Engineers to higher levels. • Strong communication skills with intercultural acumen. • High level of proficiency in IT tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, MS SharePoint, Teams, Salesforce (CRM), or similar etc) • Technical product/application experience with Geared Solutions, Motors, and/or Inverters will be a strong plus. • Self-Driven.
