This role is all about leading the day-to-day accounting operations, from month-end close to payroll and vendor management, while also coaching and developing two talented team members. You’ll partner closely with leadership, improve processes, and make sure our financial reporting is both timely and reliable. This role is fully remote, but you must be located in MA/RI/NH to be eligible to apply! Responsibilities: • Lead the month-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis. • Review and guide the work of staff accountants, providing mentorship and feedback. • Oversee payroll, accounts payable, cash management, and vendor relationships. • Collaborate with internal teams and support external audits. • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and filings. • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP & ASC 606, 842, 805, and 718. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA required. • 5+ years of accounting experience in SaaS industry, and 2+ years of management experience preferred. • Previous experience in public accounting highly desired.
