Role Summary We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of large-scale, capital-intensive industrial projects as part of the Cyclyx Project Management Office (PMO). The ideal candidate brings a proven track record in delivering highly complex process, recycling, or manufacturing facilities and thrives in matrixed, fast-paced environments where structure, stakeholder engagement, and disciplined project execution are essential to success. Reporting to the Vice President, PMO, this role will lead cross-functional project delivery from construction through commissioning. The successful candidate will combine field experience, PMO governance discipline, and strategic execution capabilities to align scope, schedule, budget, and stakeholder expectations across a dynamic capital project portfolio. Key Responsibilities • Project Delivery Leadership • Lead end-to-end project execution of industrial capital projects from detailed engineering through commissioning and turnover, with emphasis on scope control, performance monitoring, and structured PMO oversight. • Serve as the primary interface between internal functions (engineering, procurement, EH&S, operations, finance), JV partners, and external stakeholders including EPC firms, contractors, and regulators. • Establish and maintain project baselines using standard PMO tools, including WBS alignment, milestone mapping, earned value metrics, and critical path monitoring. • Support Operations Readiness through the consolidation of company-wide goals and objectives necessary to stand up operating assets. • Governance, Reporting & Controls • Apply rigorous project controls in accordance with PMO standards, ensuring transparency in scope changes, cost performance, and risk exposure. • Develop and maintain project dashboards and executive reporting for internal leadership and external board-level partners. • Support the risk management structure by proactively identifying issues and driving mitigation plans in coordination with project stakeholders. • Coordinate gate reviews and internal approvals for investment decisions, design releases, and major execution milestones. • Construction Oversight & Commissioning Readiness • Support field execution through coordination with Construction Managers, ensuring site activities are aligned with schedule, budget, safety, and quality targets. • Accountability on commissioning planning, startup readiness, and turnover protocols in coordination with operations, commissioning, EH&S, and quality teams. • Facilitate timely RFI resolution, interface management, and punch list completion to ensure successful system startup. • Stakeholder Engagement • Serve as a strategic integrator across JV partners, sponsors, and internal teams, ensuring alignment on business objectives and project priorities. • Lead effective stakeholder engagement, including governance communications, status updates, and structured issue resolution across organizational boundaries. • Support project team culture through structured communication, clear accountability, and collaborative problem-solving. Experience/Knowledge • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or related technical discipline required; Master's degree or MBA preferred. • 10+ years of experience managing complex industrial capital projects, preferably in manufacturing, energy, recycling, or process industries. • Demonstrated success delivering $100M+ greenfield or brownfield projects under structured PMO or gated project delivery frameworks. • Deep knowledge of construction management, commissioning, and industrial operations. • Experience with risk management, cost control, project forecasting, and investment analysis. • PMP, CM-Lean, or similar professional certification preferred. • Advanced proficiency in MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent scheduling software; experience with project platforms like Procore, Aconex, or SharePoint is a plus. • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Position Mechanics Reports to: VP of PMO Type: Exempt; Full-time Work Hours: Flexible, but must be available 8:00-5:00, Monday to Friday with occasional evening and weekend work. Role Overview The Procurement Manager is responsible for managing the procurement of Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) materials and services, ensuring reliability, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with company standards. In addition, the role supports selected CAPEX procurement activities and contributes to the development of procurement systems and processes. While working side-by-side with Procurement Specialists and MRO Buyers, the Procurement Manager provides guidance, mentoring, and operational leadership in a "manager-lite" capacity - acting as an escalation point and informal group lead without formal reporting authority. The role ensures effective day-to-day MRO procurement, supports CAPEX projects under the guidance of the Director, and drives continuous improvement in systems, processes, and supplier management. Key Responsibilities • Lead day-to-day procurement of MRO goods and services, ensuring timely and cost-effective supply. • Negotiate independently with MRO suppliers on pricing, delivery, and terms. • Monitor supplier performance, resolve escalations, and ensure compliance with contracts and policies. • Mentor and guide Procurement Specialists or MRO Buyers, providing operational support and coaching while acting as an escalation point. • Support the Director, in CAPEX-related sourcing, subcontracts and negotiations. • Manage procurement packages within CAPEX projects as delegated by the Director. • Ensure timely and compliant procurement aligned with project budgets and schedules. • Contribute to the development and optimization of procurement systems and tools, including ERP enhancements. • Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., supplier consolidation, automation, cost-saving measures). • Support the Director in defining MRO category strategies and supplier panel structures. • Provide training and guidance to buyers on procurement processes, compliance, and systems. • Act as primary procurement contact for internal functions (engineering, maintenance, operations, technology, EHS, etc.). • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure reliability and responsiveness. • Maintains documents for assigned purchases and follows document control requirements. • Enforce adherence to procurement standards, policies, and compliance frameworks. • Hold direct budget authority for assigned procurement categories within defined thresholds. • Monitor operational costs and provide regular reporting on spend, savings, and supplier performance. • Approve day-to-day expenditures in line with delegated authority. • Other such duties as may be assigned by the Director, Procurement and Senior Director, Supply Chain from time to time. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field. • Minimum 7 years of procurement experience, with strong exposure to MRO Procurement and CAPEX support. • Proven track record in supplier negotiation, cost reduction, and performance management. • Experience with ERP systems and procurement process optimization. • Strong interpersonal and mentoring skills, with the ability to provide guidance without formal reporting authority. • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
