This role is responsible for bridging newly acquired labels and their contracts into Salesforce (our system of record) and ensuring that all contract details, financial terms, and operational metadata are accurate, complete, and ready for downstream reporting in our data lake and BI tools. The Contract Data Manager will work closely with the Senior Contracts Data Manager, Salesforce admins/developers, and cross-functional stakeholders in Finance, M&A, Music Operations, and Data to maintain a high standard of data quality and support scalable contract operations. Responsibilities Update Salesforce opportunities and related records to align with executed B2B and B2C agreements, ensuring financial terms, dates, and schedules are accurately reflected Perform regular data audits and clean-up of contract-related objects in Salesforce to maintain accuracy, completeness, and consistency Partner with Salesforce administrators and developers to add or adjust fields, validation rules, and workflows that support contract ingestion and lifecycle processes. Generate and maintain recurring reports and dashboards (Salesforce and BI tools such as Looker) to monitor contract data quality, ingestion status, and operational KPIs. Coordinate with label administrators and internal stakeholders to gather missing client, label, and contract information required for onboarding into Salesforce Support rollout of new data entry policies, standards, and SOPs across labels and internal teams to ensure consistent contract data practices. Collaborate with Finance, Data Engineering, Business Affairs, and other teams to ensure that Salesforce contract data maps cleanly into our data lake and supports royalty payouts, forecasting, and reporting. Track and support key operational metrics such as contract ingestion speed, metadata completeness, label onboarding time, and deal alignment in Salesforce. Document processes, data models, and workflows related to contract data within Salesforce and shared knowledge bases. Assist the Senior Contracts Data Manager in identifying process gaps and recommending improvements to tooling, automation, and documentation. Other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data/Information Systems, Finance, or related field or equivalent practical experience 3+ years of experience in contract data operations, sales operations, revenue operations, or CRM data management (Salesforce strongly preferred) Experience working with contract, revenue, or rights-related data in Salesforce (or similar CRM/contract platform) Strong proficiency in Salesforce data operations: record updates, reports, dashboards, list views, filters, and basic admin-level understanding Ability to translate legal and business terms (e.g., license terms, territories, durations, fees, advances) into structured data fields High attention to detail and data accuracy; comfortable working with large datasets and multiple systems Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional partners (Finance, M&A, Music Operations, Data/BI) Experience using BI/reporting tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI) to validate and monitor data. Solid organizational and project management skills; ability to manage multiple labels/ingestion pipelines concurrently Experience in music, entertainment, or media is a plus but not strictly required Pay Scale $100,000 - $120,000 per year The final compensation within this range will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and overall fit for the role.
