Join our team and help shape the future of climate technology. Position Overview The Shipping Coordinator is a key member of Copeland's Forney, TX Distribution Center team. This role ensures smooth, efficient, and cost-effective shipping and warehouse operations. You'll manage daily shipments of finished goods and raw materials, coordinate with carriers, maintain accurate documentation, and support warehouse activities-helping keep our supply chain running seamlessly. Key Responsibilities Shipping Operations • Coordinate daily shipments of finished goods, raw materials, and special freight (air, ground, expedited). • Prepare and manage Bills of Lading (BOLs), packing slips, and other shipping documentation; verify shipments before release. • Schedule and confirm carrier pickups for LTL, TL, and other freight. • Monitor trailer utilization to maximize efficiency and reduce costs. • Track inbound and outbound shipments, maintain accurate system records, and report on shipping performance. • Handle incoming RMAs and coordinate with the Reynosa, MX shipping/receiving team as needed. Warehouse Support • Manage the flow of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring drivers are scheduled and processed efficiently. • Act as the main point of contact for dock activities, prioritizing loading and unloading with warehouse staff. • Log and track shipments to support accurate inventory and delivery records. • Collaborate with supervisors and leads to optimize workflow, meet productivity targets, and maintain a safe work environment. • Monitor warehouse organization and compliance, upholding safety and operational standards. Distribution Center Coordination • Communicate with carriers, brokers, and 3PLs to ensure timely pickups and deliveries. • Serve as a liaison between shipping, warehouse, customer service, and transportation teams. • Support DC leadership in executing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and driving process improvements. Required Qualifications • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. • 3-5 years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or distribution center operations (manufacturing experience preferred). • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. • Proficiency with Oracle, iPlan, or similar ERP/shipping systems. • Experience in load planning and warehouse management systems (e.g., Manhattan Scale WMS) preferred. • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. • Legal authorization to work in the United States (no sponsorship available). Preferred Qualifications • Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills. • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
