The Role The Account Executive will be responsible for utilizing and developing their network within the cardiology sector and making the needed introductions to the Directors of Business Development (BDD) and Area Vice Presidents (AVP) in order to fill the pipeline and close new site agreements. Success in this position will be driven by making introductions that fill the commercial pipeline and lead to new site starts. This will then improve CDL’s ability to enhance our customer experience and increase patient access to Cardiac PET in a practice. The position requires strong interpersonal and negotiation skills and a comprehensive personal network in the cardiology space. This Account Executive will need to possess the ability to make these introductions for the BDD / AVP in accounts where there is a meaningful leader who possesses the ability to influence the process of contracting for advanced imaging. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Introduce and transfer relationships to the CDL team with customers in order to facilitate communication between CDL and customers. These relationships will support additional resources and build long-term relationships to achieve mutual business goals. * Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills * Build, develop, lead, and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and stakeholders * Proactively enhance the customers’ experience with CDL’s platform of offerings * Possess the ability to deliver CDL’s value proposition effectively to customers * Assist and manage the implementation of contract terms and maintain the account for its duration * Drive these new accounts to a contracted close in conjunction with the BDD or AVP in the respective area. * Respond promptly to customer inquiries and requests and involve the BDD / AVP immediately where needed * Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives * Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings, according to company standards * Liaise with Sales and Marketing departments to ensure alignment with current resources and tools to establish CDL as the leader in advanced imaging. * Stay up to date with internal and external developments and suggest new ways to increase customer productivity * Remain up to date in understanding the CDL model and customer performance metrics QUALIFICATIONS: * BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales, or relevant field, preferred * 3-5 years of previous job-related experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho CRM or HubSpot, etc.), and MS Office (particularly MS Excel) * 3-5 years of experience delivering client-focused solutions in a sales related role * Demonstrable experience in negotiating and meeting clients’ requirements * Must be self-driven, independent, and highly motivated * Excellent analytical and organizational skills * Performs other related duties as assigned Why CDL Nuclear? This role is critical to driving awareness, engagement, and growth in an underpenetrated yet highly strategic market segment. The ideal candidate will bring strong commercial acumen, an analytical mindset, and a proven track record of developing effective go-to-market strategies. You will collaborate cross-functionally to shape messaging, refine customer targeting, secure early wins, and influence the trajectory of CDL’s growth in the hospital channel. Responsibilities: Market Strategy & Positioning • Develop and own the marketing strategy for the hospital segment, ensuring alignment with CDL Nuclear Technologies’ overarching commercial objectives. • Leverage market research, stakeholder interviews, and healthcare industry trends to deeply understand hospital decision-making processes and unmet needs. • Define and articulate compelling value propositions tailored to hospital administrators, cardiologists, radiologists, and procurement stakeholders. • Partner with sales leadership to identify high-priority geographies, service lines, and customer profiles within the hospital segment. Go-to-Market Execution • Design and launch integrated marketing campaigns (digital, print, in-person) that drive awareness, generate qualified leads, and support the sales pipeline. • Create compelling content—including case studies, white papers, thought leadership, and educational webinars—highlighting CDL’s differentiation and clinical value. • Collaborate closely with regional sales teams to develop hospital-specific pitch decks, objection handling guides, and tailored outreach materials. • Enable field sales through training, onboarding resources, and strategic support during key hospital engagements and tradeshows. Commercial Insights & Performance Tracking • Conduct competitive intelligence and market analysis to anticipate changes in the hospital landscape and adapt strategies accordingly. • Regularly analyze marketing campaign effectiveness, lead generation outcomes, and hospital engagement metrics to inform decision-making. • Develop and manage dashboards that monitor KPIs such as lead conversion rates, campaign ROI, brand awareness lift, and hospital penetration. • Present findings and recommendations to executive leadership, using data to advocate for marketing investments and strategic pivots as needed. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field (MBA preferred). • 8+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity. • Experience in the healthcare or medical technology sector required; hospital segment experience strongly preferred. • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with a bias for action. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to varied stakeholders (clinical, executive, operational). • Proven success developing and executing go-to-market strategies. • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with high standards for execution.
