The Role CDL Nuclear Technologies is seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Marketing to lead the development and execution of marketing strategies with a particular focus on the hospital segment. This role is critical to driving awareness, engagement, and growth in an underpenetrated yet highly strategic market segment. The ideal candidate will bring strong commercial acumen, an analytical mindset, and a proven track record of developing effective go-to-market strategies. You will collaborate cross-functionally to shape messaging, refine customer targeting, secure early wins, and influence the trajectory of CDL’s growth in the hospital channel. Responsibilities: Market Strategy & Positioning • Develop and own the marketing strategy for the hospital segment, ensuring alignment with CDL Nuclear Technologies’ overarching commercial objectives. • Leverage market research, stakeholder interviews, and healthcare industry trends to deeply understand hospital decision-making processes and unmet needs. • Define and articulate compelling value propositions tailored to hospital administrators, cardiologists, radiologists, and procurement stakeholders. • Partner with sales leadership to identify high-priority geographies, service lines, and customer profiles within the hospital segment. Go-to-Market Execution • Design and launch integrated marketing campaigns (digital, print, in-person) that drive awareness, generate qualified leads, and support the sales pipeline. • Create compelling content—including case studies, white papers, thought leadership, and educational webinars—highlighting CDL’s differentiation and clinical value. • Collaborate closely with regional sales teams to develop hospital-specific pitch decks, objection handling guides, and tailored outreach materials. • Enable field sales through training, onboarding resources, and strategic support during key hospital engagements and tradeshows. Commercial Insights & Performance Tracking • Conduct competitive intelligence and market analysis to anticipate changes in the hospital landscape and adapt strategies accordingly. • Regularly analyze marketing campaign effectiveness, lead generation outcomes, and hospital engagement metrics to inform decision-making. • Develop and manage dashboards that monitor KPIs such as lead conversion rates, campaign ROI, brand awareness lift, and hospital penetration. • Present findings and recommendations to executive leadership, using data to advocate for marketing investments and strategic pivots as needed. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field (MBA preferred). • 8+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity. • Experience in the healthcare or medical technology sector required; hospital segment experience strongly preferred. • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with a bias for action. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to varied stakeholders (clinical, executive, operational). • Proven success developing and executing go-to-market strategies. • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with high standards for execution.
