Overview The Materials Specialist is responsible for applying existing knowledge and experience in the Material Management Discipline to support strategic assignments. They will utilize best practices and knowledge of internal or external issues to enhance products or services within the Material Management Discipline. The Materials Specialist applies their conceptual knowledge of Material Management and, with moderate guidance and direction from colleagues and leadership, is responsible for solving a range of complex Material Management problems. They will be responsible for analyzing potential solutions using standard procedures and developing an understanding of the company, its processes, and customers. The Materials Specialist understands key business drivers and applies this knowledge to solve problems in straightforward situations by analyzing possible solutions using technical experience, judgment, and precedents. Responsibilities • Communicate effectively with Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication and Material Management Team. • Receive, Review, Process and Release Imperial SoM Oracle Agile PLM Bills of Material to Oracle JD Edwards. • Identify, Resolve and Prevent issues in the company’s MRP (Materials Requirements Planning) System. • Understand the systems and technology used in the process. • Responsible for generating daily reports for Procurement using Power BI dashboards, Hubble Reports, and other reporting tools. • Develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards to provide Procurement with real-time visibility into key KPIs and material flows. • Responsible for generating Hubble Reports to update the Procurement Databases. • Manage the Procurement Databases and Reports. Local Requirements Start at Fairbanks Rd in Houston, then transfer over to The Woodlands at the direction of management Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Supply Chain Management, Systems Engineering, Computer Science (or a relevant discipline) or HSD / GED / IGCSE with three (3) years of relevant experience. • Strong functional knowledge of Material Requirement Planning Systems such as Oracle Agile PLM and/or Oracle JD Edwards. • Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and dashboard creation. • Ability to generate Excel spreadsheets, graphs, and pivot tables with supporting analysis. • Three (3) years of experience working with MS Access. • Three (3) years of experience working with Visual Basic for Applications. Overview The Sr. Logistics & Trade Compliance is responsible for identifying and maintaining commercial relationships with logistics service providers, and for initiating and coordinating shipments to support the project sites and fabrication shops with focus on best service, price and terms. This position routinely interacts with Supply Chain, Operations, Accounting, and Engineering.
