Overview The Sr. Logistics & Trade Compliance is responsible for identifying and maintaining commercial relationships with logistics service providers, and for initiating and coordinating shipments to support the project sites and fabrication shops with focus on best service, price and terms. This position routinely interacts with Supply Chain, Operations, Accounting, and Engineering. Responsibilities • Proactively embraces and promotes the company's HSE requirement's and culture • Prepares bidders lists, proactively seeks out and qualifies new potential Logistics Service Providers. • Assembles and distributes requests for quotation from Logistics Service Providers. • Creates and issues contracting documents with Logistics Service Providers. • Coordinate inbound & outbound shipments with vendors, shops, and project sites • Liaise between CB&I, Vendor and assigned carrier on the shipping movement and documentation • Organize and maintain hard copy & electronic documentation supporting shipments (domestic or international) • May be responsible for soliciting budgetary pricing for Logistics to support estimating/proposal efforts for projects. • Proactively recommends, supports and implements improvements to tools, systems and software to improve efficiency and maximize autonomy. • Effectively exemplify the company's Leadership Competencies • Actively seeks and utilizes an effective mentoring relationship(s) • Establishes medium and long term career and personal development goals • Enthusiastically seeks and accepts tasks and projects in rotations that allow for maximum experience and growth • Perform other duties assigned as needed. Qualifications • All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations • 10-12 years practice of regulatory compliance with import/export regulations related to international oil & gas industry • College degree or industry equivalent certifications • Expert understanding of U.S. trade regulations (ITAR, EAR, OFACE, etc.) • Experience working with international customs and export control laws highly preferred • Demonstrated experience developing and delivering trade compliance training to international stakeholders • Ability to travel up to 20%, domestically and internationally, as required • EPC Industry experience Organizational Structure and Location • Organizational Level: N5+ • Reports to: Mgr Logistics & Trade Comp • Permanent work location: Home Office • May be temporarily assigned to Project SitesCommon Performance Metrics • This is a salaried exempt role as per FLSA Skills and Behaviors Skills and Behaviors • Business presence and polish • Knowledge of CB&I products and markets • Proactively identifies and solves the complex problems • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Mentally agile and ability to multi-task and manage tight deadlines • Proven negotiating ability with high emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills • Demonstrated business partnering skills with the ability to influence the organization • Adaptability and agility to learn and contribute in varying and complex environments • A mature business and technical acumen coupled with a drive to achieve results • Exceptional communication and presentation skill, both written and verbal • Ability to work and build credibility across the business, up to and including senior management levelProactively embraces and promotes the company's values and culture, including diversity & inclusion and a healthy and safe work environment
