Position Summary The Billing Operations Analyst will serve as a key member of the Billing Department and will play a critical role in supporting key controls. This individual will rely on analytical skills to target and organize the right data sets and will demonstrate superior communication skills to translate raw data and trends into meaningful and contextual materials which will be used by both the Billing and Finance teams to create actionable plans. Job Responsibilities Adheres to all company policies and procedures. Key Controls and System Management Under minimal direction, formulates and defines system scope and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of information technology, business processes, and industry requirements. Analyzes, defines and documents business processes and rules Develops visualization, user experience and configuration elements of solution design. Executes and coordinates requirements, management and change management processes. Develops and maintains internal and external relationships to support management of scope and expectations. Operates as a team member and as a team leader. Advises on methods to improve business processes. Required Qualifications High School degree or equivalent required. 3+ Years of Medical Billing Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Must be highly organized with a strong attention to detail Demonstrates solid time management skills and organization Ability to work with minimal guidance; Proactive, motivated self-starter Flexibility and proven ability to handle and manage frequent changes effectively and efficiently Ability to communicate professionally with patients and facilities Exceptional customer service and phone etiquette Ability to multi-task effectively. Basic knowledge of CPT, ICD-10 Knowledge of insurance processing, guidelines and general laws related to all payers. Meets productivity/performance standards as set forth by management.
