Key Responsibilities: • Drive sales of premium stone and tile products to architects and designers across San Francisco and the North/South Bay areas. • Build and maintain strong relationships within the A&D community, leveraging your existing network to grow business. • Specify and promote porcelain and natural stone slabs for architectural and design projects. • Manage sample shipments and ensure timely delivery to clients for project specifications. • Conduct occasional in-person visits to client offices and project sites as needed. • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless order processing and client satisfaction. • Stay informed on industry trends and product innovations to effectively position offerings. Skills and Experience: • Minimum 3 years of experience selling products to architects and designers in the San Francisco market. • Proven track record in A&D specification sales (any product category). • Strong network within the architecture and design community. • Preferred: • 1+ year experience in tile and stone sales. • Familiarity with specifying stone and tile for design projects. • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills. • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing client relationships effectively. Skills & Experience • Minimum of 7 years of sales experience in building materials, construction, or sustainable technologies, with a strong background in institutional and public sector projects. • Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and securing new business in competitive markets. • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills with architects, contractors, and decision-makers. • Strong negotiation and closing abilities. • Solid understanding of construction processes and sustainable building practices. • Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and proactive in identifying opportunities. • Comfortable working independently and within cross-functional teams. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms.
