They are seeking an Associate Director, AI Innovation to drive the integration of AI-driven platforms, enhancing data-driven decision-making across various teams to support patient outcomes and business growth. Responsibilities • Lead the integration, enablement, and innovation of AI-driven platforms, incorporating RAG models and agentic AI to automate data synthesis and insight generation. • Develop and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines to enable real-time, context-aware insights for decision support. • Leverage agentic AI approaches to build autonomous AI agents that continuously optimize data-driven recommendations and adapt to changing business needs. • Apply advanced AI techniques (e.g., NLP, deep learning, predictive analytics) to transform structured and unstructured data into business-critical insights. • Develop AI-driven decision-support tools to optimize commercial strategy and enhance medical engagement. • Collaborate cross-functionally with Commercial, Medical, and other key stakeholders to identify AI-driven opportunities and deploy AI solutions effectively. • Evaluate and refine AI models for improved accuracy, efficiency, and business impact in decision-making processes. • Design and implement scalable AI-driven analytics frameworks, enabling real-time data interpretation and scenario modeling. • Conduct hypothesis-driven exploratory analyses, leveraging deep learning, NLP, and generative AI to uncover actionable insights. • Stay at the forefront of AI innovation, continuously evaluating new methodologies, tools, and platforms to enhance BeiGene’s AI capabilities. • Present insights and AI-driven recommendations to senior leadership, ensuring strategic alignment and impact. Skills • Master's or PhD in AI, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field. • PhD with 8 plus years or a Master's with 10 plus years of experience in AI-driven analytics, machine learning, or data science applications. • 8 plus years of consulting or commercial pharmaceutical industry experience. • Hands-on experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) models, integrating AI models with enterprise knowledge bases for real-time insight generation. • Experience working with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate) for efficient similarity search and knowledge retrieval. • Deep understanding of agentic AI approaches, developing AI agents that autonomously improve model outputs and adapt to evolving data needs. • Expertise in NLP, deep learning, and machine learning for enhancing AI-based insights. • Advanced knowledge of ML algorithms (classification, regression, clustering, reinforcement learning, and anomaly detection). • Hands-on experience with big data environments (Hadoop, Spark) and AI tools (Snowflake, Databricks, LangChain). • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and cloud-based AI services (AWS, Azure, or GCP). • Strong grasp of statistical methodologies, including Bayesian inference, A/B testing, and causal inference. • Ability to translate complex AI insights into clear, strategic recommendations for business leaders. • Strong influencing skills, collaborating effectively with Commercial, Medical, and cross-functional teams. • Experience leading AI/analytics initiatives that drive measurable business impact. • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, making AI-driven insights accessible and actionable for executives. • Supervisory responsibilities.
