This role will analyze regulatory requirements, assess organizational risk, and provide recommendations to leadership to maintain adherence to compliance standards. The specialist will serve as a key liaison between compliance, legal, audit, and business units, ensuring policies are effectively communicated, implemented, and monitored. Key Responsibilities • Research, interpret, and monitor changes in laws, regulations, and industry standards relevant to organizational operations. • Draft, review, and update policies, procedures, and compliance documentation to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements. • Conduct compliance risk assessments and recommend appropriate controls and process improvements. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (legal, risk, audit, business units) to implement compliance initiatives. • Develop and deliver training programs to increase awareness of compliance requirements and policy adherence. • Track compliance incidents, investigations, and corrective action plans, ensuring timely resolution. • Prepare reports and present findings to senior leadership and stakeholders. • Support audits, regulatory reviews, and certifications by providing required documentation and responses. • Maintain knowledge of emerging compliance trends, best practices, and regulatory developments. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Law, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred). • 3–5 years of experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or policy analysis. • Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks, regulatory environments, and risk management principles. • Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills. • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate complex regulations into clear policy guidance. • Experience with compliance management systems, reporting tools, or regulatory tracking tools. • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines. Preferred Qualifications • Experience in healthcare, financial services, government, or highly regulated industries. • Familiarity with tools such as ServiceNow, SharePoint, or policy management systems. • Professional certifications such as Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP), Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM), or Policy Analyst certifications.
