Position Overview The Lead Reviewer / Quality Assurance Specialist will oversee the review and quality assurance of policies, procedures, and compliance documentation. This role ensures that all materials are accurate, consistent, compliant with applicable regulations, and aligned with organizational standards. The specialist will serve as the lead point of contact for review cycles, coordinate with stakeholders, and mentor junior reviewers to maintain a culture of quality and accountability. Key Responsibilities • Lead the review and quality assurance process for policies, procedures, reports, and regulatory documents. • Ensure documents are compliant with applicable laws, regulations, and internal standards. • Provide detailed feedback on accuracy, clarity, readability, and consistency of policy documents. • Develop and maintain quality assurance checklists, review protocols, and style guides. • Collaborate with policy analysts, compliance officers, and subject matter experts to resolve discrepancies. • Track, monitor, and document review findings, trends, and corrective actions. • Mentor and guide junior reviewers, providing training and best practices for policy and compliance reviews. • Support audits, regulatory inspections, and external reviews by ensuring documentation readiness. • Recommend and implement process improvements to strengthen document quality and compliance. • Serve as liaison between compliance, legal, and business units during the policy review cycle. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Law, Business Administration, or related field. • 5+ years of experience in policy review, compliance monitoring, or quality assurance of documentation. • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, policy frameworks, and compliance standards. • Proven ability to review and edit complex documentation with high attention to detail. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly. • Experience using document management and collaboration tools (e.g., SharePoint, Confluence, MS Office Suite). • Demonstrated ability to lead review cycles and mentor junior staff. Preferred Qualifications • Experience in government, healthcare, or other highly regulated industries. • Familiarity with policy management systems and compliance tracking tools. • Professional certifications such as Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP), or equivalent.
