Experience & Qualifications Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or other technical field. Health, Environmental, Safety, and Quality (HESQ) – 25% • Ensure regulatory, safety, and environmental compliance, including PSM standards, and oversee departmental HES training. • Lead incident investigations and loss control programs, acting as incident commander when needed. • Manage proper handling and disposal of waste streams and execute Management of Change (MOC) processes. Other Duties – 10% • Serve as site SMART Coordinator and provide input on strategic decisions, including the plant operations budget. • Support plant process engineering and fulfill other duties as assigned, including on-call responsibilities. Minimum Qualifications And Education Required • Minimum 7 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment or chemical plant. • Previous supervisory experience is required. • Process Safety Experience (PHA, LOPA, Safety Instrumented Systems) • Root Cause Investigation Experience (TapRoot, Cause Mapping preferred) • Experience with HES Performance & Compliance, PSM, RMP • Solid understanding of both technical and financial impacts of process-related decisions. Education and area of focus • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or relevant field of study.
