This is not a traditional sourcing or HR role. Your primary objective will be to move beyond resume keyword matching and truly qualify candidates based on functional coding ability and architectural understanding. Core Expectations and Responsibilities: • Deep Technical Assessment: Conduct initial phone screens and interviews with IT and Software Engineering candidates (from Junior Developer to Principal Engineer) with the ability to discuss fundamental coding concepts, data structures, and algorithms. • Pipeline Management: Oversee full-cycle recruiting for assigned technical requisitions, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience. • Assessment Design: Help design, iterate, and refine our technical screening processes, including reviewing and suggesting appropriate tools, coding challenges, and take-home assignments. • Sourcing Strategy: Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies to target high-caliber technical talent, focusing on communities, platforms, and demographics where engineers with deep coding skills are found. We are looking for someone who combines a passion for talent acquisition with demonstrable technical aptitude. • Proven Technical Foundation: Must possess a solid, working understanding of coding functions, data structures, and modern software development practices. This experience must come from one of the following: o Previous experience as a Software Engineer, Developer, or similar hands-on technical role. o Currently enrolled in, or recently completed, a degree program in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field (with demonstrable technical projects). • Recruiting Experience: At least [X years] of experience in a technical recruiting role, ideally focused on full-stack, backend, or specialized IT positions. • Communication Mastery: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to confidently articulate technical requirements to both candidates and internal teams. • Remote Work Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume remote pipeline using modern ATS and sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Dice). This role is vital in preparing accurate project estimates, managing project execution, and ensuring successful delivery of construction projects. Requirements • Proven experience in construction estimating and project management within the construction industry. • Proficiency with Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and other estimating or project management software tools. • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable contracts and pricing agreements. • Extensive knowledge of construction site operations, safety standards, and industry best practices. • Excellent understanding of construction management processes including scheduling, cost control, and contract administration. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documents accurately. • Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, team members, subcontractors, and suppliers. • Prior experience with construction contracts and change order management is preferred. • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
