Role Overview: As an Embedded Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing secure embedded systems that protect our clients' assets and data. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop robust security features within our hardware and software products, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices. What You'll Do: - You will design, develop, and test embedded security solutions for various hardware platforms. - You will analyze security requirements and implement cryptographic algorithms and protocols. - You will collaborate with hardware and software teams to integrate security features seamlessly. - You will conduct security assessments and vulnerability testing on embedded systems. - You will document security designs, test plans, and compliance reports. - You will stay updated on emerging security threats and technologies to enhance product security. - You will support incident response and mitigation efforts related to embedded system vulnerabilities. - You will contribute to continuous improvement of security development processes. What You Bring: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. - 3+ years of experience in embedded systems development with a focus on security. - Proficiency in C/C++ programming and embedded operating systems. - Strong understanding of cryptographic principles, secure coding practices, and hardware security modules. - Experience with security protocols such as TLS, SSL, and secure boot processes. - Familiarity with security standards like NIST, FIPS, or Common Criteria. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with IoT security and wireless communication protocols. - Knowledge of hardware debugging tools and techniques. - Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or similar security credentials. - Experience working in agile development environments.
