Role Overview: As an Embedded Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing secure embedded systems that protect our clients' assets and data. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop robust security features for our cutting-edge security products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety and reliability. What You'll Do: - You will design, develop, and test embedded security software and firmware for security devices. - You will analyze security requirements and implement cryptographic algorithms and protocols. - You will collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate security features into embedded systems. - You will conduct security assessments and vulnerability testing to identify and mitigate risks. - You will troubleshoot and resolve security-related issues in embedded products. - You will document security designs, test plans, and compliance reports. - You will stay current with emerging security threats and technologies to enhance product security. - You will support product certification and compliance efforts with industry standards. What You Bring: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. - 3+ years of experience in embedded systems development with a focus on security. - Proficiency in C/C++ programming and embedded software development tools. - Strong understanding of cryptographic principles, protocols, and secure coding practices. - Experience with hardware security modules (HSM), secure boot, and trusted platform modules (TPM). - Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded Linux environments. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with IoT security and wireless communication protocols. - Knowledge of security standards such as NIST, FIPS, or Common Criteria. - Hands-on experience with penetration testing and security auditing tools. - Advanced degree or certifications in cybersecurity or embedded systems.
