Store materials, pick and package orders, operate WMS devices, and conduct safety duties. | Ability to lift up to 30 lbs, work in a fast-paced environment, and follow safety procedures. | Job Title: Warehouse Associate Company: Aisin World Corp of America Department: Logistics Department Location: Franklin, IN (FLC) Position Responsibilities The incumbent is expected to perform the following functions that the company has determined are essential to this position: • Store material to meet production requirements • Pick, package and scan orders to meet customer demands • Operate WMS devices and follow standard operating procedures • Responsible to conduct assigned 5S duties daily Requirements: Work Environment Requirements With reasonable accommodation: • Must be able to operate a personal computer, telephone, and other office equipment. • Must perform job duties onsite, when necessary, except those duties that are customarily or by their nature performed offsite (for example, offsite customer visits). • Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. • Must be able to work on multiple assignments at once, and complete assignments within deadline and budget (if applicable) with satisfactory quality. • Must be able to operate as an effective team member. • Must be committed to a high standard of safety and be willing and able to comply with all safety laws and all company safety policies. • Must be able to lift, bend, stand for duration of shift and lift up to 30 lbs. continuously Attendance/Work Hour Requirements • Must maintain an acceptable attendance record. • Must be willing and available to work weekends and holidays as necessary and desirable to meet business needs.
Process customer purchase orders, manage order acknowledgements, support customer accounts, coordinate shipments, and suggest process improvements. | Minimum 5 years experience, high school diploma, intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, 40-60 WPM typing, positive customer service attitude, and ability to work onsite during training then hybrid. | * Compliant with various computer programs / systems: Oracle, EDI, Excel, Outlook, Order Loader e.g. More4Apps, etc. * Order entry: Process all the customer’s POs - standard, promotional, direct ship, International, and/or EDI/More4Apps Orders. Send Customer sales order acknowledgement. * Customer Support: Open order and/or backorder reports, maintain customers account information, maintain department logs and perform weekly/monthly cross checks. * Release orders and print shipping instructions for warehouse, work out any shipment issues/delays (e.g. short stock), and suggest Kaizen opportunities in the department where possible to management. * Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required Skills and Abilities: * Common software capabilities; Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook (intermediate preferred, advanced a plus) * WPM 40-60, 10-key by touch * Excellent verbal, writing, and interpersonal skills * Positive customer service personality (important) * Experience – minimum 5 years Beneficial Skills and Experience: * Automotive Aftermarket Experience * Oracle Education/Training/Certifications: * High School Diploma Work Environment Requirements: * Must be able to operate a personal computer, telephone, printer, and other office equipment. * Must perform job duties onsite during training (6-12 months) then will be expected to WFH and the Office (hybrid schedule). Work from home space is required. * Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment where constructive criticism is encouraged. * Must be able to work on multiple assignments at once, and complete assignments within deadline and prioritize accordingly. * Must be able to operate as an effective team member! * Must be committed to a high standard of safety and be willing and able to comply with all safety laws and all company safety policies.
