Process customer purchase orders, manage order acknowledgements, support customer accounts, coordinate shipments, and suggest process improvements.
Minimum 5 years experience, high school diploma, intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, 40-60 WPM typing, positive customer service attitude, and ability to work onsite during training then hybrid.
* Compliant with various computer programs / systems: Oracle, EDI, Excel, Outlook, Order Loader e.g. More4Apps, etc. * Order entry: Process all the customer’s POs - standard, promotional, direct ship, International, and/or EDI/More4Apps Orders. Send Customer sales order acknowledgement. * Customer Support: Open order and/or backorder reports, maintain customers account information, maintain department logs and perform weekly/monthly cross checks. * Release orders and print shipping instructions for warehouse, work out any shipment issues/delays (e.g. short stock), and suggest Kaizen opportunities in the department where possible to management. * Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required Skills and Abilities: * Common software capabilities; Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook (intermediate preferred, advanced a plus) * WPM 40-60, 10-key by touch * Excellent verbal, writing, and interpersonal skills * Positive customer service personality (important) * Experience – minimum 5 years Beneficial Skills and Experience: * Automotive Aftermarket Experience * Oracle Education/Training/Certifications: * High School Diploma Work Environment Requirements: * Must be able to operate a personal computer, telephone, printer, and other office equipment. * Must perform job duties onsite during training (6-12 months) then will be expected to WFH and the Office (hybrid schedule). Work from home space is required. * Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment where constructive criticism is encouraged. * Must be able to work on multiple assignments at once, and complete assignments within deadline and prioritize accordingly. * Must be able to operate as an effective team member! * Must be committed to a high standard of safety and be willing and able to comply with all safety laws and all company safety policies. Attendance/Work Hour Requirements: * Must maintain an acceptable attendance record. * Must be willing and available to work such weekends and holidays as necessary and desirable to meet business needs. * Schedule is Monday – Friday 8AM – 5PM (1 hour lunch and 2 breaks) Travel Requirements: * Approximately 0 %
