Developing sourcing strategies, negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and coordinating logistics to optimize supply chain efficiency. | 7-10+ years of sourcing/procurement experience in pharmaceuticals, proficiency in SAP, strong negotiation and organizational skills, willingness to travel. | Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Develop and execute a comprehensive sourcing and procurement strategy to meet company objectives. • Research global market, analyze and share evaluation to estimate and procure competitive pricing, lead times, and quotes for the comparator drugs and other requirements from the client. • Onboard existing supplier relationships and establish new partnerships across US & global target markets. • Coordinate with the team to ensure timely completion of tasks and reduce workload. • Review weekly progress of sourcing plan vs. actual and devise tactics to ensure monthly achievement targets are met. • Negotiate contracts for sales/purchases, manage contract renewals, and review contracts as required. • Manage relationships with suppliers and ensure effective trading operations. • Liaise with facility team members on inventory levels, stock control, and warehousing activities. • Work closely with the logistics team to achieve committed turnaround times. • Coordinate with the business development team on market expectations regarding product rates and negotiate with suppliers to support order conversion. • As a sourcing specialist, bridging the gap between sales and procurement functions to optimize efficiency in the supply chain and enhance overall customer satisfaction. • Build a rapport with existing and engage new clients by delivering exceptional service, fostering new relationships, and contributing to the growth of New Life Medicals (USA), Inc. • Collaborate with the BD team to identify opportunities for business growth and expansion. • Stay updated on industry trends and market developments to inform sourcing and business development strategies. • Flexibility to travel for attending (need based) Exhibitions, Conferences, business related travel i.e (Company Meeting or to visiting the facility in North Carolina) Work Experience Qualifications: • Proven 7-10+ years of work experience as a Sourcing Specialist / Procurement Specialist, preferably in the clinical trial supplies, pharmaceuticals outsourcing team, comparator drug sourcing and supplies. • Result driven orientation having solid service oriented attitude with excellent negotiation skills. • Previous experience in SAP & other industry software will be an added advantage • Must have keen attention to detail and possess proper phone and email etiquette. • Ability to stay organized while effectively prioritizing multiple projects at once. • High attention to detail when completing projects. • Person should be in position to travel for meetings and exhibitions and events. • Strong time management skills to complete projects by deadlines. • Self-motivated individual who takes ownership of their projects. • Administrative skills (MS Office and Google Workspace are required). • Maintain excellent verbal, writing, and language skills. Education Qualifications: • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in health sciences, or related field of Pharmaceuticals.
