The Senior Sales Analyst will analyze sales results and pipeline health to drive revenue growth through data-driven insights. This role involves collaborating with Sales and Finance teams to build accurate revenue forecasts and maintain executive dashboards for sales performance metrics. | Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field, along with 3-5 years of experience in sales or revenue operations. Strong technical skills in Excel, CRM systems, and BI tools are essential, along with a deep understanding of SaaS metrics. | We are looking for a highly analytical and business-savvy Senior Sales Analyst to serve as the strategic bridge between our Sales and Finance teams. In this role, you'll drive revenue growth through data-driven insights, sales performance optimization, and financial analysis. You'll be the go-to person for revenue intelligence, working directly with our Chief Sales Officer and VP of Finance to optimize sales performance and ensure accurate financial planning. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in sales operations or revenue operations combined with solid financial analysis skills in a fast-growing B2B SaaS environment. Key Responsibilities Revenue & Sales Performance Analysis: Analyze sales results, pipeline health, and conversion metrics to identify trends and recommend actionable strategies Monitor key SaaS metrics (ARR, MRR, CAC, LTV, churn) and provide insights on revenue performance by segment, product, and sales team Track sales pipeline health, conversion rates, and deal velocity across all stages of the sales funnel Partner with Sales leadership to diagnose performance gaps and identify growth opportunities Forecasting & Financial Planning: Collaborate with Sales and Finance teams to build accurate revenue forecasts and support annual planning processes Maintain rolling forecasts with variance analysis and provide regular updates to executive leadership Develop financial models for sales compensation, quota setting, and ROI analysis of sales initiatives Reporting & Analytics: Build and maintain executive dashboards and KPI reporting for sales performance and revenue metrics Ensure data accuracy across CRM, ERP, and BI systems; reconcile discrepancies between Sales and Finance reporting Provide regular business reviews and ad-hoc analysis to support strategic decision-making Cross-Functional Partnership: Work closely with Sales Operations, Marketing, and Finance to align on targets, processes, and outcomes Support sales leadership with territory planning, quota setting, and performance management Collaborate on pricing analysis, deal profitability assessment, and revenue recognition guidance Experience: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field 3-5 years of experience in sales operations, revenue operations, or sales/revenue analytics B2B SaaS experience with deep understanding of subscription business models Experience working directly with sales leadership and cross-functional teams in a high-growth environment Technical Skills: Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and revenue operations tools Proficiency with BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar) Familiarity with ERP/FP&A systems (NetSuite, Cube, or similar) Strong understanding of SaaS metrics, sales processes, and revenue recognition principles Core Competencies: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights Strong communication skills with experience presenting to executive leadership and non-technical stakeholders Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with competing priorities Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Collaborative mindset with experience building relationships across Sales, Finance, and Operations teams Preferred Qualifications: Experience with sales compensation plan design and analysis Background in financial planning & analysis (FP&A) Previous experience in venture-backed or high-growth SaaS companies What We Offer Competitive compensation and benefits Position is remote within US Minimal travel About ActivTrak This is an incredible opportunity to embark on an exciting journey with a dynamic, VC-backed company.
