Duration : 12 Months Pay Rate : $20/hr. Shift : 8 am to 5 pm Number of Opening : 1 Responsibilities The Operations Assistant plays a key role in supporting daily operational activities and ensuring smooth workflow across the department. The Operations Assistant will be responsible for managing and processing equipment returns within the system, ensuring that all documentation is complete and accurate. In addition, the role involves assisting customers by responding to inquiries both in person and over the phone, providing timely and professional support to address their needs. A major part of this role includes maintaining and scheduling weekly driver routes to ensure efficient service delivery and timely operations. Qualification The ideal candidate must be highly detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously, and able to perform effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Monitor and audit IT systems for security compliance, assist with security audits, develop security policies and procedures, and support risk management for the organization. | Requires knowledge of information security tools, federal and state security regulations, security certifications (e.g., CISSP), and experience with network administration and security audits. | Local candidates only. Resource will work as an Information Security Analyst responsible for auditing and monitoring systems containing confidential information. This position is also responsible for helping the organization manage its risks by monitoring the organization’s IT systems for inefficiencies, inaccuracies, mismanagement, etc. Tasks will include assisting with the configuration of data, application, network, and IAAM logs; assisting with log reporting tools; and monitoring systems for security problems. The position participates in all aspects of the technology audit and monitoring including the planning, control analysis, testing, issue development, and reporting phases. This position will also participate in all federal and state audits against DCS technology systems. Employee works in an Information Technology Division of a State Agency, the Department of Child Services (DCS-IT) under the guidance of the Security Manager. The essential functions of this role are as follows: • Monitors and keep supervisor informed of status of information security and confidentiality conditions, including problem areas and recommended enhancement; • Interfaces with user customers to understand their security needs and implement procedures to accommodate them including training and assessment. • Assists with preparing for security audits (e.g. IRS, SSA, OCSE, FBI, SBOA) and remediating any findings; assists with creating and submitting reports relevant to security audits. • Develop information security policies and standards for protection of information systems in compliance with state and federal requirements (e.g. IRS, SSA, OCSE, FBI, IOT) and guidelines (e.g. NIST SP 800-53). • Develops Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for implementing security polices; • Recommends appropriate security safeguards to be included during development of new information technology systems and legacy systems; • Ensures maximum utilization of computer hardware and software features to secure automated systems and associated data; • Develops and implements procedures for use of information security management software; • Proposes information security software enhancements; • Performs periodic audits to assure security policies and standards are being followed and are effective. • Develops recommendations for enhancements and generates reports where necessary; • Keeps abreast of new laws and changes affecting privacy standards, network security, cloud security, remote access, and physical security; • Mentors and provides guidance to new or other staff as needed; • Performs related duties as assigned. • Assist on other task as assigned. Support and maintain .NET applications and Windows infrastructure, manage Rhapsody-based public health data exchange workflows, and contribute to legacy system modernization planning. | Extensive Rhapsody Integration Engine experience, strong SQL and .NET skills, Windows Server and PowerShell proficiency, and ability to support public health data exchange systems. | Job Title: Business Systems Analyst/Programmer Duration: 12 Months Location: Remote JOB DESCRIPTION: This position will support and maintain existing Rhapsody, .NET-based applications and infrastructure, assist with troubleshooting and automation, and play a key role in planning and guiding a modernization effort for legacy systems. The resource will also contribute to evaluating and recommending technologies and tools to support the modernization of our disease surveillance and data infrastructure. A critical requirement for this role is strong experience with the Rhapsody Integration Engine, as the contractor will be responsible for managing and enhancing public health data exchange workflows. Familiarity with Oracle PL/SQL is a plus and will support data-related tasks but is not a primary focus of the role. Primary Responsibilities • Support and troubleshoot existing .NET applications and Windows-based infrastructure • Develop and maintain scripts and tools using PowerShell and SQL • Assist in the planning and strategic direction of a modernization initiative involving legacy systems and data integration • Evaluate and recommend modern technologies and tools to support disease surveillance and data infrastructure modernization • Collaborate with internal teams to assess current architecture and recommend improvements • Provide documentation and knowledge transfer to internal staff Public Health Data Exchange Responsibilities: • Manage and optimize data exchange processes between external organizations, DPH, and CDC • Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot interfaces using the Rhapsody Integration Engine • Maintain and enhance HL7 message routing, transformations, and mappings • Troubleshoot and maintain the NEDSS Base System (NBS) • Implement upgrades and new functionality/modules (e.g., pages) • Maintain ancillary systems such as NBS Utilities and the ELR data store Required Skills • Extensive experience with Rhapsody Integration Engine, including interface development, message transformation, and troubleshooting • Strong SQL development and troubleshooting skills • Proficient in C# and .NET Framework • Experience with Windows Server administration • Familiarity with IIS (Internet Information Services) • Power Shell scripting for automation and maintenance • General Windows OS troubleshooting and support • Ability to contribute to planning and architectural discussions for system modernization • Experience evaluating and recommending modern technologies and tools for data systems • Ability to support public health data exchange systems and workflows Nice to Have • Experience with Oracle PL/SQL • Familiarity with HL7 or FHIR standards • Experienceusing TFS (Team Foundation Server) • Knowledge of NBS/NEDSS systems and workflows • Experience with SMTP and SFTP protocols • Understanding of public health messaging vocabularies and clinical coding systems such as LOINC, SNOMED, and ICD-10-CM The Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to creating an equitable and inclusive environment for all.
