The Opportunity The Senior Interoperability Engineer is an experienced technical contributor responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting interoperability solutions within Abbott Diabetes Care while supporting our mission to improve patient outcomes and become the most connected CGM in the market. This role ensures secure, reliable, and standards‑based data exchange between medical devices, clinical systems, and external healthcare platforms while meeting regulatory, safety, and quality requirements. The Senior Interoperability Engineer partners with engineering, product, commercial, and quality teams to deliver high‑quality interoperability solutions and resolve complex integration challenges. This role serves as a strong technical contributor with deep hands‑on expertise in healthcare interoperability standards and plays a key role in delivering scalable, compliant, and patient‑safe connectivity solutions for current products. #software What You'll Do Technical Execution Apply established architectural patterns and best practices for clinical and administrative data exchange. Perform detailed HL7 v2, HL7 CCD/CDA, and FHIR interface mapping for supported workflows and integrations. Develop, deploy and support APIs, data pipelines, and integration services for real-time and batch data exchange. Ensure implemented solutions comply with HIPAA, GDPR, 21st Century Cures Act, and other healthcare data privacy and security regulations. Troubleshoot complex integration issues and provide technical guidance to project teams. Provide operational support for interoperability services, including participation in an on‑call rotation to diagnose, resolve, and prevent production integration issues. Collaboration & Enablement Collaborate with EHR vendors, health systems, payers, and third‑party developers on integration implementation and issue resolution. Contribute to technical and quality documentation and assist with onboarding and knowledge sharing for interoperability tools. Monitor and improve system performance, reliability, and data quality across supported integrations. Mentor and support junior engineers through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and technical guidance. Critical Success Indicators: Delivered multiple production‑grade EHR interoperability solutions supporting customer and patient workflows. Demonstrated ability to implement healthcare standards‑based solutions that integrate effectively into real‑world clinical environments. Proven collaboration with cross‑functional teams including software engineering, product, commercial, and quality. Strong working knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards and frameworks such as HL7 v2/v3, FHIR, DICOM, IHE. Practical understanding and effective use of healthcare middleware and integration platforms. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience 5+ years of Interoperability Engineering experience Proven experience developing and deploying EHR Interoperability solutions and services Demonstrated working knowledge of healthcare standards and frameworks such as HL7 v2, FHIR, IHE profiles, SMART on FHIR, and CDS Hooks Demonstrated working knowledge of integration engines and their capabilities. The job purpose and scope of the Structural Heart Clinical Lead Specialist (CLS) is an integrated part of clinical trials and commercial sales in collaboration with the Regional Sales Directors and the Clinical Lead Manager (CLM). This position will report into the Clinical Lead Manager for the US. In addition, the CLS will collaborate with the training & sales department to be an extension for field preceptorship initiatives. The Clinical Lead Specialist is to support Abbott TAVI US clinical trial and commercial case coverage, trial enrollment and sales support primarily assigned to a region but with US coverage responsibility. Additional support may be needed outside of defined region as business needs arise. The CLS will be the expert to support start up trial and commercial accounts to include Abbott proctor delegate designation. The Clinical Lead Specialist exhibits excellence in clinical competency, ensures patient centric focus, maintains high standards of clinical outcomes, and actively supports the assigned region to identify opportunities and challenges with customers to advance market share and achieve franchise goals. The CLS will be the main point of contact for all trial related activities in the region identifying quality concerns, challenges, and continuity of trial oversight. Driving regional clinical trial enrollment plans and initiatives to meet trial enrollment forecasts, identifying gaps and developing plans per site for proper engagement and enrollment commitment. Properly managing trial inventory and acquisition Providing documentation as required from customer for quality assurance initiatives Partnering with Regional Sales Directors to develop and establish regional strategy and deliver procedural growth; ensure a firm grasp of account activity, current and historical performance Communicating product, clinical and market data to appropriate personnel inform customers of the latest product, therapy and technology developments in the industry and engages in clinical, procedural, and technical discussions, and link data outcome to key messaging Meeting with existing and potential clients to identify clinical needs, goals, and constraints related to patient care, and provide creative and feasible solutions. Build relationships in various hospital departments (Research coordinator, valve coordinator, surgery, interventional cardiology, purchasing, etc.) and identify key decision makers to facilitate future sales and trial support Maintaining value to the customer, ensure skillset is viewed as being an expert in TAVI therapy and industry; proactively invest in professional development and remain relevant Required Qualifications Bachelor of Science (BS) or Arts (BA) college degree or equivalent clinical degree i.e., Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), Certified Cardiology Technician, Registered nurse (RN) or Nurse Practitioner (NP), Transcatheter Cardiovascular Surgical/Scrub technician, Physician Assistant (PA). The Opportunity This role will be a remote role. We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Account Manager within our Toxicology Business Unit. In this role you will be part of the Clinical Laboratory Solutions Sales team that is responsible for growing the top line revenue by developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers while ensuring customer needs and company objectives are effectively met. The Senior Account Manager should have a strong understanding of the unique drug screening requirements of the diverse laboratory customers, with a focus on physician office laboratories, independent laboratories, treatment centers and other clinical laboratories to guide and counsel customers on the use of company products and services. Preferred base locations are West Coast (WA, OR, ID, MT, WY, ND, SD, NE, NV, UT). As an important member of the Clinical Laboratory Solutions Sales team, your primary job responsibility is to acquire new customers and retain current customers to achieve company revenue growth and gross margin objectives. What You’ll Focus On: Drive the development of potential customers from cold calling, initial contact, closing business, contract negotiation/execution and on-going account management. We are hiring a Regional Sales Director (RSD) for the ICM portfolio based in the Northeast. This position will report to the US Area Vice President. The RSD must live in the geography of the region and may travel in excess of 50% depending on staffing and regional demands. As a Senior Regional Account Manager, responsibilities entail securing access for the entire line of ADC Products to the regional accounts within the territory. This includes developing relationships and mutual strategies within the defined regional accounts to open or improve access for ADC products. The channel includes any of the following customer types: Health Plans, Managed Care Organizations, Employer Groups, managed Medicaid, FFS Medicaid and Medicare plans within the market access channel. This is a remote Field based opportunity. What You’ll Do Developing and implementing, cross divisional initiatives and contract development Assess business impact of contracting opportunities to include overall profitability and impact on sales and margin Working to ensure optimal contract value and efficient implementations/training Account Management/Customer Care Leadership and self-development Effectively manage assigned budget while maximizing return on investment. Experience You'll Bring Required: Four year bachelors degree required in business administration or life sciences (including but not limited to biology, physiology, nutrition, and/or clinical chemistry) required. Masters degree a plus. Business background will aid in determining profitability of account specific strategies and relating to customer business issues.
