This position will work virtually out of their home in Minnesota Counties: Norman, Becker, Mahnomen, Clay, Otter Tail, Wilkin, Traverse, Todd, Grant, Douglas, Big Stone, Stevens, or Pope. With moderate direction they will investigate, evaluate and conclude complex field inspections by following appropriate regulatory and company rules and procedures to ensure that claims are handled in the most effective, efficient way while delivering a customer-centric claims service. They will also provide support to Area Claims Managers either as a local claims specialist in the facilitation of general day to day operations and claims management. In addition, the selected candidates will support the lower level adjusting staff by completing and/or providing training and assistance with complex claims. Crop Claims Specialist Basic Qualifications: + High School Diploma or Equivalent and 4 or more years of experience in the agricultural or the crop insurance industryAND + Crop Adjuster Proficiency Program (CAPP) must be obtained 180 days of hire date. + Personal transportation and travel within assigned territory and travel outside of assigned are to assist with workload(s), participate on CAT team and/or provide remote assistance for the CROP Claims Care Center calls and/or CCP Claims. + RCIS Crop Adjuster Physical Requirements; walk in agricultural fields up to 3 miles, climb agricultural storage bins up to 25 feet, lift 25 lbs to 50 lbs, work outdoors in varying temperatures/weather conditions. Preferred Qualifications: + Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills. + Strong organization, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills. + Intermediate Microsoft office skills. This is a work from home role positioned within the U.S. with ability to travel up to 50%. This role includes a company car. As a Sr Transportation Safety Risk Engineer, you will: + Serve as a subject matter resource for transportation safety within Casualty Risk Engineering. + Perform field engineering risk assessments and risk improvement services for prospect accounts and bound accounts. This may be done virtually but often requires travel where necessary. + Provide engineering support to underwriting teams and attend client/broker meetings as needed. + Manage account risk portfolio and provide account level engineering to meet underwriting requirements. + Provide advanced casualty consultative services to customers, identify exposures with significant loss potential, investigate cause/effect of major losses and review/assess casualty management program effectiveness. + Develop and implement customer service strategies that reduce losses and improve customer operations. + Monitor casualty account engineering services to ensure that delivery is proper, on-time, and cost effective. + Assist in marketing Zurich Resilience Solutions, and risk transfer insurance products in conjunction with underwriting professionals and agents across company business segments.
