ZEEKR US is seeking a meticulously organized and proactive leader with deep knowledge and experience in automotive maintenance, service repairs, diagnostics, and collision (both light and heavy). You will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and guidance to multiple automotive workshops within the West Coast region – initially California and Arizona markets. Strong consideration and preference will be given to applicants familiar with Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs). What you will be doing: • The #1 goal of the ZEEKR’s Regional Service Manager is to ensure best-in-class service and repair operations and the highest level of customer satisfaction are achieved. • Successfully achieve ZEEKR’s high level of safety, quality, and compliance standards. • Day to day activities include overseeing automotive workshop operations, workforce scheduling, repair order management, parts stocking oversight, equipment preventative maintenance scheduling, performance monitoring (both financial and productivity), training, and much more. • Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and other available reports and adjust business plan and procedures/processes as necessary. • The Regional Service Manager will be responsible for all workshop facilities located within the west coast of the US, including Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Phoenix markets. • This position will also directly support ZEEKR US’s Service and Repair Operations Manager and will serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, feedback, and general concerns. • Promote high workshop team retention while maintaining a safe, clean, neat, and orderly work environment. • Foster a positive team culture ensuring the growth of the team. • Liaise with workforce staffing vendors, ensuring technical training requirements are met. What Skills & Experiences You Will Need: • Ten or more years of experience in multi-location automotive repair shop management or equivalent business experience. • Experience with dealership management systems (DMS) or fleet management systems (FMS), telematics platforms, and service management tools. • Experience in managing and coaching Technicians and workshop team members. • Evidence of exceptional ability to teach and coach Service staff. • Problem-solving using analytical, creative, and critical-thinking skills. • Demonstrated ability to analyze data, make informed decisions, and drive results. • Proven track record and ability to develop and meet monthly, quarterly, and annual plans with clearly defined goals. • Ability to travel up to 50% (west coast states predominantly). • While rare, occasional requirement to support non-standard working hours such as weekends, overnight, holidays. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated confidence and professionalism while communicating. • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical demands. • Experience with OSHA regulations and compliance, as well as EHS management including automotive HV requirements. • Experience in scaling operations, with proven record to expand service networks and improve efficiency in multi-location settings. • Experience developing and participating in career growth paths for technicians and service advisors. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience working in a retail automotive dealership setting • ASE Certification, experience as an automotive Technician, earned certificate program in Automotive Technology, or similar competencies • Working knowledge and experience with Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) systems with HV battery training and certification • Understanding of spare parts inventory control methods and accountability • Ability to manage financials for multiple locations, including cost control and profit optimization • Ability to work with engineering, logistics, and customer support teams for service improvements. This position is considered for Remote work, ideally based in Arizona or California.
