Partner Development:  • Manage the relationship with key Partners and Wowza stakeholders.  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between Wowza and partner teams.  • Track and measure the success of Partnership initiatives.  • Identify optimal revenue opportunities within the region or market segment.  • Serve as the main point of contact for the Americas Region. • Lead onboarding and training processes for new partners.  2. Engagement and Collaboration:  •  Identify and qualify inbound leads across all sectors aligned with partner's Video Solution Builder segment  • Collaborate with the Partner & Wowza Sales Team to organize reseller roadshows to present Wowza’s solution to prospects.  • Collaborate with Sales Leadership and GTM teams for effective opportunity closure.  • Establish productive relationships with marketing for regional partner marketing.  • Maintain a working knowledge of Wowza’s products, services & competitive advantages   3. Performance and Reporting:  •  Achieve or exceed monthly quotas and communicate forecast changes early.  •  Deliver growth targets for each partner.  •  Contribute to the enhancement of the Wowza partner program.  •  Provide credible forecasts and recommendations for partner relationships.  • Maintain updated and accurate CRM Account Records for managed Partners    4. Contract Management:  •  Negotiate standard contract elements and identify/escalate contract-related issues.   5. Strategic Alignment:  • Work collaboratively with sales leadership to address key GTM Sales priorities.  • Manage channel conflicts to positive outcomes  • Execute partner plans for revenue growth.   6. Salary: $110,000-$125,000 Bonus eligible The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of our salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on a range of factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies. The Senior Video Streaming Engineer will architect, configure, and optimize live and on-demand streaming pipelines. This role involves developing custom Java modules and implementing hardware-accelerated transcoding for high-density encoding. | Candidates should have over 5 years of experience in transcoding and packaging workflows, with strong Java development skills. Deep knowledge of video codecs and hands-on experience with GPU transcoding optimization are essential. | About the Role We’re seeking a Senior Video Streaming Engineer with deep expertise in transcoding, packaging, and delivery workflows to join our engineering team. In this role, you will architect, configure, and optimize live and on-demand streaming pipelines using Wowza Streaming Engine, custom Java modules, GPU acceleration, and modern packaging standards. You will play a key role in delivering low-latency, high-quality video streams at scale. What You’ll Do Configure and optimize Wowza Streaming Engine Transcoder for real-time workflows. Develop custom Java modules and extensions for transcoding pipelines. Implement hardware-accelerated transcoding (NVIDIA CUDA/NVENC, AMD GPUs) for high-density encoding. Design and implement CMAF packaging workflows for HLS/DASH delivery. Configure adaptive bitrate ladders with seamless switching. Optimize encoding parameters (MainConcept, AMD, x264/x265) for quality vs. bitrate trade-offs. Implement Low-Latency HLS (LL-HLS) streaming with sub-3 second latency. Benchmark and optimize transcoding performance across CPU and GPU resources. Configure CMAF packetization, manifest manipulation, and push publishing to CDNs. Handle ID3 metadata insertion, SCTE-35 markers, and DRM-protected CMAF streams. Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues including frame drops, audio sync, and encoding artifacts. Technical Requirements 5+ years’ experience in transcoding and packaging workflows (Wowza or similar). Deep knowledge of video codecs: H.264/AVC, H.265/HEVC, VP8/VP9. Strong Java development skills for Wowza module customization. Hands-on experience with GPU transcoding optimization (NVIDIA CUDA/NVENC, AMD/Xilinx).
