Winter Pediatric Therapy Center has been serving children of the greater Houston and surrounding areas for over 25 years! We are looking for a Receptionist to manage our front desk on a daily basis and to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. One who will thrive in a fast-paced clinic environment. Responsibilities include but not limited to the following: • Answer and direct phone calls in a professional manner, and routing calls as necessary. • Check in patients • Maintain Referral list up to date • Communicate effectively with referring physician staff • Registers new patients and updates existing patient demographics by collecting detailed patient information • Schedule appointments • Verify patient eligibility and benefits • Request prior authorizations • Welcome visitors in a warm and friendly manner • Maintain reception area and all common areas in a clean and tidy • Operate standard office equipment on a regular basis, including a fax machine, a copy machine, and a computer • Receive deliveries; sort and distribute incoming mail • Monitor and maintain office supplies; request restocking when necessary • Create and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical Bilingual (Spanish/English) is preferred.
