Manage accurate billing and revenue recognition, resolve escalated client billing issues, handle cancellations and refunds, and assist with financial period close activities. | Requires 4-6 years relevant experience, GED or high school diploma, advanced Excel skills, ability to review sales contracts, and willingness to work onsite with occasional irregular hours. | The Sr Billing Specialist is responsible for accurate revenue recognition. The scope of this job includes receiving inbound client correspondence regarding billing related questions and escalations, processing credit and debit memos, and managing the appropriate refund and cancellation processes. Key Responsibilities: Execute proper billing for accurate revenue recognition, ensuring accurate and timely entry into the appropriate systems. Review sales contracts for billing and revenue implications. Effectively manage non-standard, complex billing arrangements and collaborate across departments to research and resolve escalated client disputes and billing exceptions. Work directly with client retention and support teams to manage the client cancellation workflow and proactively address any questions or concerns. Own multiple month-end reconciliations and assist with close of financial periods in partnership with revenue managers. Drive process improvements and provide solutions for common problems across the billing team. Perform other job duties as assigned. WellSky is hiring a Solutions/Product Manager to work on our Business Intelligence solutions supporting the acute referral management space. This role would be working with product teams throughout the Connected Networks business unit to help drive our BI vision for Acute facilities at large. In this role, you will develop the strategies and requirements implemented across our product base to help hospital systems quickly identify key performance indicators in their referral strategy and aid in delivering better patient outcomes.
