Who You Are Build and scale the customer reference program Own the end-to-end customer reference strategy for Weights & Biases products. Recruit, manage, and nurture customer advocates across industries, use cases, and personas. Translate complex outcomes into clear, credible customer stories. Partner with sales to provide timely customer references for active deals. Match references to buyer personas, industries, use cases, and deal stages. Create high-impact customer proof. Enable customer participation in webinars, events, analyst briefings, and speaking opportunities. Support review and ratings programs (e.g., G2, Gartner Peer Insights). About The Role: As a Data Analyst (for our Product group), you’ll be embedded with product teams to help them understand what’s working, what’s not, and where to focus next. You’ll dig into usage data, run experiments, and build reporting that helps PMs and engineers see how customers are engaging with W&B. Your analyses will directly shape product direction. Who You Are: You’re someone who loves exploring user behavior and finding patterns in messy product data. You enjoy collaborating with PMs and engineers, and you’re motivated by influencing product decisions with data. You’re equally comfortable writing SQL, running an A/B test, or explaining your findings in plain English. • Strong SQL and python skills; experience with large, event-driven datasets. • Strong working familiarity with analytical and statistical techniques for analysis, testing, and identifying casual relationships. • Familiarity with common analytics concepts (funnels, retention, cohort analysis, experiment design). • Ability to partner with PMs and engineers, and turn questions into structured analysis. • History of writing easy-to-follow code and effective documentation for your projects • Experience with dbt, Hex, and experimentation platforms is a plus.. What You’ll Do: As a Staff Product Manager on the Platform team at Weights & Biases, you’ll play a pivotal role in scaling and evolving the foundational systems that power our machine learning infrastructure. In this role, you will drive execution across a range of mission-critical initiatives for our customers that drive the developer experience. You’ll be responsible for orchestrating projects that require deep coordination and clarity across multiple disciplines. Who You Are: Experience: Experienced product manager with at least 7+ years working on platform infrastructure, or enterprise systems. Versatility: Proven ability to work across multiple domains — ideally cloud based infrastructure, developer tooling, or distributed systems. Technical fluency: Comfortable discussing APIs, architecture diagrams, deployment models, identity protocols, and platform trade‑offs with engineers. Cross‑functional leadership: Skilled at aligning diverse teams, setting priorities, and balancing technical constraints with business objectives. Customer empathy: Deeply curious about customer pain points — both external ML practitioners, IT admins, and internal developers — motivated to deliver solutions that make their workflows seamless. We build reporting to keep the business attuned and aligned. We build datasets and pipelines to support self-service analysis. We train models to understand our customer growth, churn risk, and detect spam and abuse. We’re exploring novel benchmarks and recs for model training. About the role: As a Senior Data Platform Engineer, you will: Partner with other Data Platform Engineers and Data Scientists to expand and maintain our data platform. Partner with core engineering to improve our product telemetry. Eventually, join our on-call rotation for the data platform. Strategic goals for the team over the next 12 months: Migrate data build tools to improve efficiency and performance Build a robust internal data catalog and semantic layer to support self-service analytics. Build an internal AI agent for addressing common data workflows. Lay the foundations for internal AI applications built on top of our operational data. Who You Are: Deep knowledge (practical and theoretical) of data engineering and the accompanying workflows. History of writing easy-to-follow code and effective documentation for your projects. Expert knowledge of data orchestration/data pipeline tools (dbt, dagster, airflow, etc). Experience working with large and high-demand data warehouses/platforms, multi-PB scale, and extreme business demand for the systems. Expert knowledge and understanding of web apps and best practices for logging and event instrumentation. Ability to clearly communicate your ideas to folks across a range of backgrounds and levels of technical knowledge. About the role: As a Staff Data Platform Engineer, you will: Build and operate the core data platform that powers reporting, self-serve analytics, and data-driven product decisions. Lead end-to-end platform initiatives—from design to rollout to operational ownership—balancing performance, cost, reliability, and developer experience. Partner closely with Data Scientists/Analysts and product engineering teams to improve telemetry quality and unlock new use cases on operational data. Design and scale ingestion and transformation systems that keep pace with rapid product growth and an increasingly distributed operational footprint. Build the platform with operability in mind: observability, on-call readiness, incident response, and well-documented runbooks. Participate in the data platform on-call rotation after an onboarding period. Strategic goals for the team over the next 12 months: Evolve our analytics architecture to effectively support multi-petabyte scale by shifting high-volume workloads to more scalable, cost-effective compute and storage patterns, while maintaining (or improving) query performance and reliability. Unify and standardize ingestion across a growing number of operational databases and deployment environments, enabling consistent governance, and observability as we scale from centralized infrastructure toward customer-dedicated environments.
