The engineer collaborates with product, engineering, analytics, marketing, and privacy teams to deliver clean, reliable, and compliant data that powers analytics, optimization, and customer experience. Key Responsibilities • Implement front‑end tracking across React, Angular, and JavaScript applications. • Build and maintain event instrumentation for page loads, clicks, product views, conversions, and dynamic UI interactions. • Integrate marketing pixels (TikTok, Meta, Pinterest, Symbiosis, etc.) using standardized event data. • Validate and debug tracking using browser developer tools and tag management tools. • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure tracking is implemented correctly within front‑end components. • Ensure privacy compliance by integrating consent logic and preventing restricted data collection. • Document tracking requirements including event definitions, payload structures, and implementation notes. • API‑Driven Tracking Responsibilities (New Requirement Added) • Understand and interpret front‑end API calls to determine when an API request succeeds or fails. • Extract required data from successful API responses such as order details, product lists, user state, or transaction IDs. • Trigger or update data layer events based on API success (e.g., Order Placed, Product Listing Displayed, User Authenticated). • Map API response fields to event payloads for analytics, pixels, and personalization systems. • Ensure API‑driven events fire only when correct data is available and validated for accuracy. Required Skills • Strong JavaScript knowledge including DOM events, async/await, promises, and debugging. • Good knowledge on AEM Cloud • Experience with React (components, hooks, lifecycle, event handling). • Experience with Angular (components, services, observables, routing). • Understanding of API calls including response handling. • Ability to extract and map API data into event payloads. • Experience with tag managers such as Adobe Launch, GTM, or Tealium. • Knowledge of analytics platforms like Adobe Analytics, GA4, or AEP. • Attention to detail for validating event payloads and ensuring accuracy. • Cross‑functional communication to work with engineering, analytics, marketing, and privacy teams.
