Develop and implement a franchise business plan to drive sales of scientific instruments and services while collaborating with specialists and marketing teams. | Master's or PhD in a scientific field, expert knowledge of LC/MS, residency in the territory, and ability to travel. | Overview Waters is seeking a dynamic contributor to fill the role of Account Manager in our Clinical/Forensic Business Unit for the Mid West region. This person will have an exciting opportunity to drive the sales of our full range of products and services, which include Ultra Performance Liquid Chromatography System, Mass Spectrometers, software, consumables and services for the CBU. Responsibilities The desired candidate should be highly motivated to develop and implement a franchise business plan, while working in unison with their assigned specialists, marketing and service colleagues in order to deliver a strong sales funnel and associated close ratio. The foundation of the account manager's role is to develop a keen understanding of the customers' needs to design solutions with a lasting and meaningful impact. Waters is looking for a Sr District Sales Manager (PA/VA/MD/DC ) who has demonstrated themselves to be a leader, to handle our Pennsylvania District Sales team. A major responsibility will be to establish strategic relationships with the executive levels of major accounts and ensure that their direct reports establish and maintain these relationships as well. • Ensure a truly great customer experience. This includes making sure the sales and support team are highly passionate about customer engagement and success • Developing your direct reports to improve sales performance and enable career growth. Qualifications • BS/Masters/PhD in a scientific discipline (e.g., chemistry, biology, or biochemistry) or a science-related field of study • At least 5 years direct sales experience.
