Corporate Compliance Director

Lead and oversee the company's global compliance program, collaborate with business functions on policy and regulatory requirements, monitor compliance risks, and manage corrective actions and reporting. | Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of compliance experience, preferably in medical device/pharmaceutical/life sciences, strong management skills, regulatory knowledge, and ability to lead workstreams and stakeholders. | About the position Responsibilities • Lead day-to-day oversight of all platforms utilized to manage all elements of the company's Compliance Program. • Assist with the execution of the Corporate Compliance Program across the globe, while working with regional colleagues. • Involvement in the design of the enterprise-wide compliance strategy and control framework. • Collaborate with key business functions to ensure policy interpretation and guidance on new requirements. • Monitor and analyze emerging regulatory and legal compliance requirements. • Provide experienced compliance guidance on a multitude of risk areas including third-party risk and cybersecurity. • Collaborate on development of effective training to employees and 3rd party sales intermediary representatives. • Work in partnership with the Senior Director, Corporate Compliance, Legal and other corporate functions. • Implement and monitor corrective action plans related to adverse findings. • Prepare regular reporting to various levels of the company. • Facilitate compliance by partnering closely with colleagues in Legal, Internal Audit, HR, Finance, IT and other core functions. • Conduct internal investigations as requested. • Contribute to proposed business strategies and programs. • Execute on due diligence plan and oversee and monitor due diligence compliance of 3rd parties. Requirements • Bachelor's degree required: preferably in accounting, finance, law, business management or related field; graduate degree preferred. • Proven management qualities. • 10+ years of compliance experience required and broad knowledge of medical device, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industry preferred. • Deep experience with policy and procedure drafting and implementation. • In-depth knowledge of applicable regulatory and compliance requirements. • Highly motivated with the ability to be proactive and adaptive to change. • Strong executive business and financial acumen. • Skilled in analysis, problem-solving and critical thinking. • Experience managing internal and external stakeholders. • Demonstrated ability to successfully lead workstreams. • Excellent relational and communication skills. Nice-to-haves • Experience in compliance or legal business function for the operation of a compliance program. • Understanding of how regulatory requirements apply to the organization's daily operations. • Strategic advisor and long-term thinker.
