Waterford Aviation, Inc. is seeking a highly self-motivated and results-driven Service Manager to oversee and lead our Aircraft Inspectors and Technicians. This leadership position is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, premium customer service, and alignment with the standards of industry-leading manufacturers Cirrus Aircraft and Diamond Aircraft, for which Waterford Aviation is an Authorized Service Center. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with strong people-management capabilities, a commitment to service excellence, and the ability to drive performance in a dynamic aviation maintenance environment. Key Responsibilities • Provide leadership, direction, and development for Aircraft Inspectors and Technicians • Establish and maintain a professional, performance-driven culture focused on accountability, communication, and operational excellence • Ensure service delivery meets or exceeds customer expectations and manufacturer brand standards • Manage daily service operations including workflow planning, resource allocation, equipment & hangar organization, and customer service • Monitor performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives • Ensure compliance with all applicable quality, safety, and regulatory requirements • Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures to support organizational objectives Required Qualifications • License: Airframe & Powerplant License with 3-years experience minimum in aircraft maintenance • Demonstrated leadership experience within an aviation service or maintenance organization • Strong communication, coaching, and team-development skills • Customer-centric mindset with a focus on premium service delivery • Proven ability to manage performance metrics, operational goals, and service results • Proficiency in leveraging technology to drive efficiency and accountability • Experience with EBIS software is preferred Preferred Experience & Attributes • License: Inspection Authorization (IA) • 3–5 years of management or supervisory experience • College education with coursework in management, leadership, or business (preferred) • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment • Professional executive-level interpersonal skills • Strong commitment to team development, operational efficiency, and profitability Compensation & Benefits • Opportunity to represent industry-leading general aviation brands: Cirrus Aircraft and Diamond Aircraft • Work in a small, family-oriented atmosphere, while having the resources and facilities of larger companies • Comprehensive benefits package including medical/dental/vision insurance, Retirement Savings Program with employer match, paid time off and paid holidays • Manufacturer-provided training and ongoing professional development Qualified candidates who are prepared to lead service operations at a high standard of excellence are encouraged to apply.
