Summary: In this role, you will lead consulting engagements that deliver measurable clinical, financial, and operational improvements across pharmacy services. You will analyze pharmacy operations, supply chain and financial processes, and complex data sets to identify opportunities for spend reduction, revenue optimization, and enhanced service delivery. You will collaborate with internal teams and client pharmacy leaders to design innovative solutions, guide program development, and translate insights into actionable strategies that strengthen pharmacy business performance. Responsibilities: Lead the development of creative, data-driven solutions and new program offerings that enhance pharmacy business and financial performance. Partner with Spend Management, Analytics, and Pharmacy Leadership teams to improve operational efficiency, clinical outcomes, and cost management across the pharmacy enterprise. Conduct advanced financial and operational analyses, including evaluation of contracting opportunities, pricing strategies, reimbursement methodologies, and product conversions. Provide subject matter expertise in pharmacy supply chain processes, including purchasing optimization, contract compliance, NDC alignment, and monitoring best-available pricing. Collaborate with clients and internal teams on product enhancements, custom analyses, data mining, and report generation, synthesizing complex datasets into actionable recommendations. Develop dashboards, presentations, and insights for diverse audiences, including pharmacy leaders, finance teams, and executive stakeholders. Support program development by identifying new opportunities for cost savings, revenue enhancement, and workflow optimization. Execute assigned project plans, prioritize tasks, and ensure the timely delivery of milestones and objectives. Foster strong relationships with clients and internal partners by facilitating knowledge sharing, aligning strategic priorities, and supporting implementation of value-driven initiatives. Identify areas to improve tools, methods, processes, and services that enhance both internal team performance and client outcomes. Qualifications: Relevant degree preferred; advanced degree preferred. 5 or more years of relevant experience required. (e.g., pharmacy operations, pharmacy business management, or related consulting or analytical roles) Proficiency in analytics, financial modeling, and large dataset manipulation; strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of pharmacy billing, reimbursement practices, and pharmacy supply chain processes, including wholesalers, distributors, and GPO contracting. Experience interpreting and presenting complex operational and financial information to pharmacy and executive leadership. Strong communication and presentation abilities, with demonstrated experience influencing decision-making. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a virtual environment. Willingness to travel. Estimated Hiring Range: At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. Summary: In this role, you will serve as a senior advisor leading complex performance-improvement, cost-optimization, and contracting-strategy initiatives across Healthcare Technology Management (HTM). You will combine deep technical understanding of clinical engineering and medical-equipment service models with seasoned consulting expertise to guide clients toward operational excellence, improved asset utilization, and measurable financial results. You will collaborate closely with provider leadership teams, data analysts, subject matter experts, and Vizient stakeholders to deliver high-impact insights and recommendations that shape HTM strategy and transform program performance. Responsibilities: • Lead consulting engagements that improve HTM operations, service models, maintenance strategy, and financial performance. • Translate complex operational, technical, and financial information into clear, actionable recommendations for provider executives. • Guide clients on service-contracting strategy, software applications, and HTM program optimization. • Facilitate strategic discussions, executive presentations, and collaborative decision-making. • Provide subject-matter expertise to support negotiation strategies, vendor evaluation, and service-contract optimization. • Analyze provider data from financial, materials management, CMMS, and decision-support systems to identify actionable opportunities. • Evaluate maintenance contracts, service structures, vendor models, and asset-management practices for optimization potential. • Provide insights that inform RFPs, renegotiation strategies, operational redesign, and long-term financial planning. • Develop forecasts, benchmarks, and dashboards to support HTM program transformation. • Partner with project leaders to define scope, manage timelines, and ensure high-quality deliverables. • Coordinate with internal teams (Category Management, Data Science, Analytics, Supply Chain, Legal). • Support implementation plans for cost-reduction and performance-improvement initiatives. • Contribute subject-matter insight across enterprise HTM initiatives and cross-functional workstreams. • Serve as a trusted advisor to HTM executives, clinical engineering teams, supply-chain leaders, and operational stakeholders. • Communicate recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical audiences. • Build long-term relationships that support sustained client value and repeat engagement. Qualifications: • Relevant degree preferred. • 7 or more years of relevant experience required. (e.g., HTM consulting, healthcare operations, clinical engineering, or related discipline). • Background in biomedical engineering, imaging, radiology, or medical equipment management required. • Expertise in service/maintenance contracting and HTM operational models. • Proficiency with Power BI, Excel, and analytical tools. • Strong understanding of service and maintenance contracting. • Ability to work with relational databases and communicate complex analyses clearly. • Strong business and financial acumen. • Ability to synthesize complex data and communicate clearly with senior leaders. • Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients’ needs and timetables.
