Develop and expand relationships with consulting firms and employer organizations to influence healthcare benefit strategies and solutions. | Extensive experience in healthcare leadership, strategic relationship management with consulting firms or employer health programs, and understanding of employer-sponsored healthcare and digital health trends. | Job Description: • Own and expand executive relationships with national consulting firms, including Aon, Mercer and WTW, with accountability for preferred positioning, strategic alignment and sustained commercial impact for Vida’s solutions. • Serve as a senior external representative of Vida to consultant leadership and key influencers. • Design and execute scalable consultant engagement strategies across multiple channels, including targeted communications, executive briefings, product demonstrations, thought leadership and virtual and in-person forums. • Ensure consistent, high-impact education and engagement of key consultant stakeholders nationwide. • Partner closely with Regional Vice Presidents of Sales and Enterprise Sales Leadership to support priority pursuits, remove consultant-related barriers and accelerate opportunities within consultant-managed employer portfolios. • Establish clear operating rhythms, escalation paths and success metrics tied to revenue outcomes. • Serve as the senior conduit for consultant and market feedback, delivering synthesized, actionable insights to Product, Innovation and Go-to-Market leadership. • Influence roadmap prioritization, solution positioning and commercial strategy based on real-time market signals and clinical trends. • Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, helping shape Vida’s broader employer and consultant channel strategy. • Build strong internal partnerships across Sales, Marketing, Product, Clinical and Innovation teams to ensure cohesive execution and consistent market messaging. • 50% travel as needed. Requirements: • Minimum 8–10 years of demonstrated success working with major consulting firms or employer-focused healthcare organizations, with increasing responsibility and executive-level influence. • A deep understanding of the evolving healthcare and benefits landscape, particularly within the employer market and consultant-driven buying models. • Outstanding executive presence and communication skills, capable of influencing internal and external stakeholders at the highest levels. • Ability to grasp complex enterprise solutions, identify opportunities for differentiation and translate strategy into measurable commercial outcomes. • Demonstrated success building, leading, and scaling strategic relationships with national benefits consulting firms (e.g., Mercer, Aon, WTW), with a proven ability to influence clinical program adoption, benefit design and employer decision-making at an enterprise level. • Comprehensive understanding of employer-sponsored healthcare, including population health management, chronic disease prevention, behavioral health and the evolving role of digital and virtual care models in employer benefit strategies. • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex clinical and product concepts into clear, compelling strategies for non-clinical stakeholders, consultants and senior executives. • Proven ability to synthesize market insights, clinical trends and consultant feedback into actionable commercial strategies that drive growth, inform product development and strengthen Vida’s competitive position. • Advanced clinical training (e.g., RN, NP, MD, PhD, or other relevant credential) or substantial experience in a medically oriented leadership role within healthcare delivery, population health, or the digital health ecosystem preferred. We're looking for a Backend Engineer to help build and maintain the services that power Vida's internal and external applications; primarily using Django, REST APIs, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Kubernetes. This role is ideal for someone early in their engineering career who wants to grow their skills in backend development, cloud infrastructure and modern software practices. You'll collaborate closely with experienced engineers, product managers and designers to deliver new features and services that help our members and providers thrive. You'll also have the opportunity to work with AI, both to enhance our product experience and to assist in the software development process through AI-powered tools. Responsibilities: • Build, document and maintain APIs that power Vida's web, mobile and internal tools. • Design and optimize backend systems that run in Kubernetes on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). • Collaborate with engineers across disciplines to design and implement scalable, reliable services. • Develop database models and schemas that support core application features and integrations. • Integrate with internal and third-party systems that support member and provider workflows. • Work with data and AI engineers to develop features that leverage AI and automation to improve user and provider experiences. • Use AI-assisted tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate development, testing and debugging. • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines; improving deployment speed and reliability. • Write unit and integration tests to ensure code reliability and maintainability. • Monitor and troubleshoot services in production using Datadog, GCP Cloud Monitoring and logging best practices. • Participate in code reviews and pair programming to learn best practices and improve code quality. • Explore and apply AI tools to assist with development, testing and code analysis. • Continuously look for opportunities to improve reliability, observability and developer experience across backend systems. Qualifications: • 1-3 years of experience (or equivalent personal projects/internships) in backend software development. • Bachelors Degree at a minimum. • Strong foundation in Python and Django (or a similar web framework). • Demonstrated ability to learn new tools and frameworks quickly. • Understanding of REST API design and data modeling concepts. • Familiarity with SQL databases (PostgreSQL preferred). • Curiosity about cloud infrastructure and distributed systems (GCP, Kubernetes). • Interest in AI tools and frameworks that improve productivity or enhance application features. • Clear communication and a collaborative mindset. Preferred: • Experience deploying applications to GCP, AWS or similar cloud platforms. • Familiarity with containerized development (Docker, Kubernetes). • Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Cloud Monitoring). • Exposure to asynchronous or event-driven systems (Celery, Pub/Sub, etc.). • Interest in healthcare technology and building tools that make a real-world impact. • Experience with API modeling and test tools such as OpenAPI, Swagger, GraphQL and Postman. • Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot or similar to improve productivity and code quality. $100,000 - $110,000 a year Vida is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
