Support and troubleshoot enterprise software applications, mentor junior analysts, and collaborate with development teams to resolve systemic issues. | Requires 5+ years supporting enterprise software, strong SQL skills, Windows troubleshooting, remote access experience, and excellent communication. | About the position The Senior Analyst Applications Support serves as an advanced resource for supporting end users of a jail management software platform. This role handles complex workflow issues, mentors junior analysts, and partners with development and product teams to resolve systemic problems and implement enhancements. The Senior Analyst also contributes to process improvement and user training initiatives. This is a hybrid position (office/home) with a requirement to be based at one of the ViaPath offices: Altoona, PA or Pittsburgh, PA. Standard work hours with a requirement to work a rotating on-call schedule. Responsibilities • Lead resolution of complex user issues and workflow challenges. • Mentor and guide junior analysts on troubleshooting and best practices. • Analyze recurring issues and recommend process or configuration improvements. • Perform detailed root cause analysis on recurring issues and document findings. • Escalate software defects to development teams. • Gather business process details and customer requirements for enhancement requests and escalate to product teams. • Create and maintain advanced documentation and training materials. • Perform moderate SQL queries for data validation and reporting. • Review application logs to identify errors and assist in troubleshooting. • Restart services in a Windows environment when necessary. • Use remote connection technologies (VPN, Remote Desktop) to connect to customer environments. • Perform environment analysis to diagnose connectivity or performance issues. • Manage application certificates (adding, creating, and troubleshooting). • Participate in on-call rotation and provide escalation support. • Assist with user acceptance testing for new releases. • Other duties as assigned. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in software support or related field. • 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise software applications. • Strong SQL skills and ability to analyze data for issue resolution. • Ability to restart services and perform troubleshooting in Windows environments. • Experience using remote connection technologies (VPN, Remote Desktop). • Knowledge of environment analysis and performance troubleshooting. • Experience managing certificates (SSL/TLS) within application environments. • Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills. • Ability to manage complex issues and drive continuous improvement. • Ability and willingness to meet the requirement of working a rotating on-call schedule. Proficiency in intelligence tools and excellent communication skills are essential. | Overview ViaPath is seeking an Intelligence Analyst to join our team. The responsibility of the Intelligence Analyst will be to provide direct support to the customer staff. While in this critical position, you will have the opportunity to utilize your training and experience to assist corrections investigations staff in the development of actionable intelligence within the facilities or approved outside law enforcement agencies within established timeframes. The selected candidate will be team oriented, capable of multitasking, and possess excellent communication skills. Position will be a remote based position in the Columbus, OH metro area with a requirement to travel to customer sites as needed. Must be local to Columbus, OH for consideration. Responsibilities Analyze data to establish trends within the facility and potential areas of interest Assist facility with investigations by utilizing specialized software provided for data mining and link analysis Monitor offender telephone calls Establish a fundamental understanding of the facility’s operation to include policies and procedures, and data sources available for analysis Demonstrate fundamental understanding of investigative and intelligence processes to include the intelligence cycle Proactively develop intelligence to assist in accomplishing facility objectives and mission Submit detailed reports to facility regarding intelligence findings Submit regular reports to superiors outlining level of support and benefit to facility Provide guidance and training to facility staff Fulfill requests for call recordings or other related data as authorized and requested Participation in court or other administrative related hearings Demonstrate a high level of confidentiality and meticulous attention to detail Ability to develop expertise in the area of OSINT, human trafficking, digital forensics, criminal organizations, fraud, probation and parole or other specialized area. Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Criminal Justice, Intelligence Studies, Homeland Security, or related field is preferred. Equivalent related years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree. A minimum of 2 years of related experience to include reporting and analysis and strong investigative experience Must have experience in real-time intelligence support during fugitive operations Experience working with tools such as LexisNexis, CLEAR, Accurint, Palantir, or Analyst’s Notebook (must have worked with at least one of the tools listed) Proficiency in GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS) and data visualization platforms Ability to develop a fundamental understanding of intelligence processes in a correctional environment to include institutional operations and criminal procedures Excellent verbal and written communication skills Prepared to testify in court or other administrative related hearings as needed Proficient in Microsoft Windows OS and Microsoft Suite Ability to learn ViaPath and third-party software applications within the first six months of hire Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines Strong problem-solving skills with an interest and ability to conduct analysis and report on findings Pro-active Ability to handle confidential information Fluency (written and verbal) in English is required.
