A day in the life of a Merchandiser, OTW and Energy Collaborations at Vans looks a little like this. As a Merchandiser for OTW and Energy Collaborations, you will work within the Global Apparel Merchandising team, focusing on our most elevated product categories and high-profile collaborations. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to deliver consumer-right assortments that reflect Vans’ brand vision and cultural leadership. Own seasonal merchandising strategy and line architecture for this category, ensuring alignment with brand vision and financial goals. Develop global merchandising briefs by gathering and analyzing financials, competitor insights, line plans, and regional input. Rank styles and optimize assortments based on historical and current product performance, identifying redundancies and opportunities for growth. Conduct trend and competitor research to inform seasonal direction and identify new consumer-driven opportunities. Partner with Design and Product Development to source and develop new fabrications; attend fittings and review product details to ensure design integrity and quality standards. Maintain and update line plans throughout the season, ensuring accuracy and adherence to calendar milestones.
