They are seeking a highly skilled Principal Frontend Developer for a remote or hybrid role. About the Role: As a Principal Frontend Engineer, you will play a key role in the Technology Department, guiding development teams in designing and implementing high-performance, scalable frontend solutions. This is a hands-on position where you will not only write code but also mentor engineers, enforce best practices, and help shape the frontend architecture. You will collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, Product, and Delivery teams to create modern applications with cutting-edge technologies, ensuring optimal modularity, reusability, testability, and performance. Key Responsibilities: • Code Development: Actively write and review code, leading by example. • Technical Leadership: Mentor engineers on coding, testing, debugging, and performance analysis techniques. • Performance Optimization: Utilize debugging tools such as Lighthouse and ChromeUX to enhance frontend performance. • Architectural Influence: Drive scalable solutions while ensuring security and regulatory compliance. • Solution Implementation: Provide hands-on solutions through POCs or direct implementations. • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Architecture Engineering Team to refine engineering processes. • Frontend Integration: Ensure seamless connections between frontend libraries, browsers, and mobile APIs. What You Bring: • Expertise in modern frontend frameworks and state management (Redux, VueX, Pinia). • Strong understanding of frontend integration (iframes, micro-frontends, edge includes). • Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) in major frontend frameworks. • Proficiency with bundling tools (Webpack, Vite). • In-depth knowledge of browser APIs (Service Workers, MutationObserver, ResizeObserver). • Familiarity with mobile development (React Native, Ionic) is a plus.
