Job Description As a Dispatchable Field Service Representative, you’ll be on the front lines providing operations and maintenance expertise on water treatment systems for one of our customers from one of a variety of industries. This mission critical role involves working on a variety of technologies including, media filtration, softening, reverse osmosis (RO), ion exchange (IX), de-oxygenation, electro deionization, and ultrafiltration (UF). Key Characteristics ● Conduct maintenance and calibration activities ● Consult with customer management and operation teams ● Excellent mechanical know how and problem-solving skills ● Ensure contract compliance of volume and quality specifications ● Operate, monitor, and optimize equipment performance Duties & Responsibilities ● Carry out mechanical, electrical and controls troubleshooting on equipment such as valves, air compressors, ejectors, process pumps, blowers, and instrumentation ● Create and maintain site paperwork and provide customers with detailed technical summaries of work performed. ● Maintain inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacement parts ● Monitor and maintain chemical injection systems ● Perform analytical testing such as: turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO2, O2, SDI, TOC, in addition to various other site-specific testing requirements ● Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills & Abilities ● Demonstrated ability to work independently and remotely with project teams ● Provide customers with informal training around operation and maintenance of their system ● Skilled in use of computer for reports, emails, service manuals, etc. Qualifications Education & Experience Required: ● High School Diploma / GED / Home School Certification OR international equivalent 2+ years’ experience of service/maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environment ● Valid Driver’s License Desirable: ● Bachelor or Associates Degree in Science/Engineering (STEM) or technical certificate in maintenance Additional Information ● Ability to travel within NAM as required. ● Ability to travel extensively- primarily in the posting Geographic area ● This is a 100% travel role ● Working conditions can be outside, in a trailer using our fleet assets, or at fixed location Compensation - $22.60 to $33.65 per hour ****Applicants are required to be eligible to lawfully work in the U.S. immediately; employer will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work authorization (e.g. H-1B visa) for this opportunity**** VWTS does not accept unsolicited resumes from external recruiting firms. Key Responsibilities • Develop and implement tailored business development tactics and account strategies aligned • with Veolia’s corporate and branch growth goals. • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across targeted industries, including • commercial, industrial, healthcare, higher education, and municipal sectors. • Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, solution development, proposal generation,negotiations, and contract execution. • Collaborate closely with the Strategy Growth Manager to meet organic growth targets and • execute corporate strategies. • Partner with Account Managers and Technical Customer Advisors to ensure smooth client onboarding and account transitions. • Maintain accurate records of sales activity, pipeline development, and customer interactions in Salesforce. • Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations and proposals with support from branch operations and customer support. • Establish strong, long-term relationships with prospective clients across commercial, industrial, • healthcare, higher education, and municipal sectors. • Create initial account plans to support growth and long-term success of newly acquired accounts. • Stay current with Veolia training programs, industry regulations, and best practices in hazardous waste, disposal, recycling, and environmental services. Qualifications/Required Experience and Background: • Several years of experience in the hazardous waste or environmental services industry, either with Veolia, as a customer, or with a competitor. • Proven track record of sales success or account management with consistent year-over-year growth. • Strong understanding of waste transport, disposal, and recycling processes. • Bachelor’s degree in science, business, or related field preferred (equivalent work experience • considered).
