WHAT YOU WILL DO Generate sales of Varsity products to existing and target customers utilizing a variety of sales techniques Assist customers in your territory with all things Varsity Develop relationships and understand the needs of customers in your territory Become an industry expert for your territory Guide customers through the design and order process to completion Monitor competitors in your territory maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of their product offerings and selling points Coordinate with the Varsity All Star event division to support their sales efforts in your territory and to promote Varsity All Star Implement sales calls, customer visits, consultations, and other effective sales techniques to secure the business Conduct consultations, design sessions, and sizing appointments Meet predetermined performance measurements/sales goals Submit appropriate and complete paperwork, e.g. revisions, payment forms, expense reports, VID requests and rush requests Communicate production timelines and delivery dates to customer Perform administrative and customer service duties as deemed necessary, e.g. payment collection, order sorting, and return/remake facilitation Develop and implement strategy for converting target accounts to new business Provide regular updates to direct manager on progress with target accounts and sales forecasts Utilize a variety of sales techniques to increase territory sales Complete training as assigned to stay current on products, processes and technology Identify new trends in the industry and relay to your manager Monitor and utilize company produced reports, e.g. CSH, PBR, and Aged Receivables to identify opportunities, maintain “clean” accounts, and maximize sales Make your availability to customers known by returning all phone calls and emails in a timely fashion, typically within 24 business hours. WORK TYPE: Onsite LOCATION DETAILS: Monday - Thrusday onsite, Friday flex day; 14460 Varsity Brands Way, Farmers Branch, TX 75244 WORK HOURS: Full Time Exempt TRAVEL REQUIREMENT: 5-10% Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT The Senior Internal Audit Manager will be a key member of the audit team by assisting the Director of Internal Audit in executing the enterprise-wide internal audit function for Varsity Brands.  Responsibilities include developing, driving and executing the Company’s internal audit plan, to include financial, compliance and information technology audits.  This individual will initially be working with external advisors to design and implement the program but will eventually be responsible for its in-house management.  WHAT YOU WILL DO • Lead the design, development and testing of the Company’s internal controls over financial reporting including documentation, assessment and annual testing plan • Review testing of the Company’s internal controls over financial reporting including documentation, assessment and annual testing plan • Perform testing of the Company’s internal controls over financial reporting including documentation for highly judgmental and complex areas of the business • Lead operational audits including scoping, testing and documentation of results • Analyze critical business processes, evaluate design and operational effectiveness of internal controls and identify potential process improvement opportunities • Educate business stakeholders on control expectations and best practices for quality-driven and sustainable results • Track any identified control deficiencies, remediation and closure of findings, including developing and establishing realistic action plans to resolve the root cause of the issue • Coordinate external audit controls testing efforts, including walkthroughs, testing, audit requests and evaluation of deficiencies • Prepare and routinely present audit program, testing and results to management • Prepare and facilitate the quarterly sub-certifications questionnaire process • Manage and administer the internal controls compliance tool • Act as the "go-to" person for internal controls within the organization and provide reliable and insightful resource for implementing controls within a business process in an efficient and effective manner • Develop and maintain close working relationships with the management teams of all major functional areas as well as external auditor, ensuring a holistic understanding of key risks and processes of the organization • Maintain current knowledge of matters impacting business functions, the retail industry, internal audit profession and the organization • Demonstrate teamwork through cooperation with other audit personnel, sharing information, and accepting additional assignments when appropriate.  QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, including listening, verbal, written, and presentation, with the ability to communicate effectively within various levels of the company and senior level management • Exhibit strong project management and organization skills, including the ability to multi-task and prioritize various workstreams simultaneously • Facilitate and coordinate multiple deadlines, create cohesive teams, and respond quickly to management requests • Exhibit the ability to thrive in a creative, dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects and resources effectively as well as pivot focus of responsibilities in a smooth and efficient manner • Exhibit the ability to handle sensitive matters and information with tact, diplomacy, and confidentiality • Demonstrate strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills • Attention to detail, ability to multitask, remain organized and prioritize tasks with strict deadlines • Self-motivated team player, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Incorporate customer-centric values and SPIRIT principles into the company's mission, vision, and core values. • Must be comfortable with conflict resolution. • Proficient in Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point required Education/Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance • CPA, CIA, CISA or other relevant designation • Minimum 5 years experience in combination of public accounting in a top-tier public accounting firm and/or public company environment • Minimum 2-3 years experience managing and developing teams • Proficient understanding of US GAAP, COSO framework, Sarbanes-Oxley, IIA PPF and leading business practices PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS This job operates in a professional office environment. Largely a sedentary role with some filing requiring the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bending or standing on a stool as necessary. Event travel will include overnight stays for events. As part of the event operations team during the event season which runs from October through May this role is expected to be available to work 2-3 weekends per month. HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT The Judge Operations Specialist reports to the Judge Operations Coordinator and the National Scoring Director. Event travel and attendance at staff meetings & trainings is required. The Judge Operations Specialist is important member of our Varsity All Star Scoring team, ultimately responsible for supplying the Varsity All Star Certified Judges to all Varsity All Star events in their region. WHAT YOU WILL DO: Oversee all Judges in their region. Staff Judges to Varsity All Star events in their region. Assist the Legacy Judging Operating Specialists on legacy events in their region. Work closely with the Regional offices to ensure the proper number of judging panels are supplied for each event. Work with the Regional offices to confirm judges, secure travel arrangements and approve payments. Follow up with judges post event that need additional training based on knowledge-based issues. Inform the National Scoring Director of any judges that need to be suspended based on lack of knowledge, behavior, or any other professionalism issues. Provide feedback to judges in their region at the end of each season. Play a supporting role in Judges Training/Curriculum. Build and maintain strong relationships with the Judges in their region. Assist with submitting order forms & packing lists for judge’s supplies. Manage Judging budget event P&L to ensure we stay within budget for each event within the region. Additional Job Functions: Serves in a support role at events. Assist with any Virtual Events in a Scoring Role. Work End Season Events in a Scoring Role.
