This role oversees budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting for store operations expenses, while proactively identifying cost-saving and efficiency opportunities across the retail store portfolio. The manager serves as a strategic partner to Store Operations and Finance leadership, providing insights that inform decision-making and drive operational performance. Key Responsibilities • Lead store operations financial analysis, including labor, occupancy, utilities, supplies, and other operating expenses. • Own and manage the annual budgeting and forecasting process for store operations. • Provide variance analysis, trend insights, and executive-level reporting. • Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for leadership. • Oversee the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of store operations data and reporting tools. • Serve as a key business partner to Store Operations, Finance, Facilities, and Real Estate leadership. • Influence decision-making through data-driven insights and recommendations. • Lead cross-functional initiatives related to store operations performance. • Manage, coach, and develop analysts or coordinators supporting store operations analysis. • Evaluate operational processes and recommend improvements to drive efficiency and consistency. • Track, measure, and report the impact of savings and performance initiatives. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, Operations, or a related field. • 5–8 years of experience in retail operations analysis, finance, or a related field. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced retail environment. • Prior people management or project leadership experience preferred. • Strong financial acumen and analytical expertise. • Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) preferred.
